you know, her off youtube.

Top set on left looks good and her eye primer seems great for those of us whose make up slides off by elevenses

If you're looking for a good eye primer the Urban Decay one is fab.

this one

I do like Caitlin. I will admit that. Just the rest of it - seriously, I've given it a try a few times over the years as it is a bigger bundle for your money. But then get home and feel all kind of sullied because of the political bias.

A lot of it always seemed to be about getting rich. Which doesn't really grab me.

Strange how the subtleties of a newspaper's editorial can make it feel either like 'coming home' or as though you have found yourself on a cruise ship with the Godalming WI (and their wealthy husbands)

AitchTwoToTangOh · 31/10/2009 10:26

i've just watched a couple of her clips, she's great. what a nice lassie. a newspaper TOTALLY not the right place for her at all.

but she does love a shiny look, not for me.

Frrrightattendant · 31/10/2009 10:33

Oh H you nice equanimitous person

Frrrightattendant · 31/10/2009 10:35

I think the Guardian were being a bit lecherous really taking her on. They are like 'Ooh something the common people like, let's have a bit of that' kind of stealing her thunder.

Find that a bit cynical. See am not out and out guardian supporter..

Frrrightattendant · 31/10/2009 10:36

PLUS ds1 and I watched a man being arrested the other day at close quarters, it wasn't our fault they decided to arrest him right next to where we were meeting Grandma.

He was carrying a copy of the guardian.

I was very shocked actually.

AlaskaNebraska · 31/10/2009 11:12

sex offender natch then

BunnyLebowski · 31/10/2009 11:17

Aw I love Lauren Luke. She's sweet, funny and a lovely example of a normal girl doing well.

I watch her tutorials but I have to admit, as a make-up obsessive, I don't use them. There are other make-up peeps on youtube who I find more inspiring.

AlaskaNebraska · 31/10/2009 11:18

i do think the guradian are patronising her htough

Swedes2Turnips0 · 31/10/2009 11:18

Guardian reader being arrested? Most likely offences? Something covered by the Theft Act I should imagine.

AlaskaNebraska · 31/10/2009 11:21

no ime any middle aged middle class man in the dock is either
a) speeding
b) sex

and sometimes fraud/dom viol

AlaskaNebraska · 31/10/2009 11:21

swedes do you not play that game on crimewatch when they show the mugshots?

dh worryingly good

Swedes2Turnips0 · 31/10/2009 11:27

Alaska I don't watch Crimewatch, I'm far too busy with my Neighbourhood Watch work.

OP posts:
cocolepew · 31/10/2009 12:17

No, I haven't [backs away from cybil] How's the hair today?

CybilLiberty · 31/10/2009 13:40

Its very sweet of you to ask. it has survived a night tossing and turning (too much garlic bread too late but that's another story)

It has survived an ethusiastic areobics class this morning.

So so far, so good. Dd says It has to be more tousled to be truly Lilyesque but I'm not that bothered.

OP posts:
notanumber · 31/10/2009 20:21

I have tried the make-up.

It is....ok.

Nuffink special, like. Some of it a bit 'sparkly'. But quite generous quantities.

Though am a total make-up tart and try anything new, I always return to MAC to be honest.

AitchTwoToTangOh · 31/10/2009 22:47

SPARKLY!

told you.
