you know, her off youtube.

Top set on left looks good and her eye primer seems great for those of us whose make up slides off by elevenses

i read it and i am ugly. but i have a lively personality.

CristinaTheAstonishing · 30/10/2009 22:51

Swedes You haven't met me. Check out my username.

Sheesh.

fannybanjo · 30/10/2009 22:52

Now, one things for sure Aitch, a Guardian reader does not have a lively personality! An I love Arthur Scargill badge though!

AitchTwoToTangOh · 30/10/2009 22:54

true. [dullard]

fannybanjo · 30/10/2009 22:58

Now I hope Aitch you realise that an Arthur Scargill badge is one to put up there with the Blue Peter one. The "Maggie Thatcher rejuvenated our industries" t-shirt though should be resigned to wiping the dog shit off my shoes...

Swedes2Turnips0 · 30/10/2009 22:59

I didn't mean to imply all Guardian readers are ugly.

I'm pretty ugloid myself but can't seem to persuade my face to switch from the the Times to Guardian due to circumstances.

fannybanjo · 30/10/2009 23:04

Swedes, its okay, we understand that The Times is only read to see how many Tarquins and Florentines have been born in The Portland this week but I am impressed that you are a serious broadsheet reader

CristinaTheAstonishing · 30/10/2009 23:04

Swedes - I've returned to the G after a few years of dallying with other newspapers. It really is a better read than others, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

fannybanjo · 30/10/2009 23:09

I am astonished that anyone finds the time to read a broadsheet! This is the first night in 9 months that I have managed to spend a couple of hours on MN and my kitchen has suffered as a consequence.

AitchTwoToTangOh · 30/10/2009 23:13

i only read the colour supps, if that's any comfort.

fannybanjo · 30/10/2009 23:15

Aye, a girl after my own heart. Although the Sunday supps are now used to line the puppy's kennel. Says a lot really.

CristinaTheAstonishing · 30/10/2009 23:27

Only the Saturday edition, I don't have time for it every day.

fannybanjo · 30/10/2009 23:33

I just read online editions nowadays, means I don't feel cheated when it is a lot of shat.

AitchTwoToTangOh · 30/10/2009 23:37

ah, but you reading online means fewer sales which makes it shat, so...

CybilLiberty · 30/10/2009 23:38

YES BUT HAVE YOU TRIED THE MAKEUP

bellissima · 31/10/2009 08:46

No, haven't tried the make-up - but feel pressing need to stand up for a fellow Geordie! Surely the whole point is that she doesn't look like a super model. How boring is it to be presented with a gorgeous looking 17 year old in a magazine and be told that her make-up/hair/clothes look great? (like they wouldn't even if she had got dressed and applied it all within five seconds).

AnyGhoulKno · 31/10/2009 09:44

I didn't think the newspaper was a good medium for what she does - the whole appeal is seeing how she applies the makeup.

AitchTwoToTangOh · 31/10/2009 09:51

no, she doesn't look like a supermodel, she looks like lauren luke with the same shiny make-up on every week.

haven't tried it, cyb, but we're keeping it bumped for you...

Frrrightattendant · 31/10/2009 09:59

I LOVE Lauren Luke.

No have not tried the make up but then I never wear any as I find it uncomfortable.

I just love watching her put it on. Loads of people do.

Leave her alone

Frrrightattendant · 31/10/2009 10:01

...and wow that anyone on MN reads the Times. Their crossword is shite, reader offers are dire and the print quality is very questionable.

plus it is very tory

I'm afraid I can't take it seriously and the magazine is far too aspirational.

AitchTwoToTangOh · 31/10/2009 10:02

she's in the guardian.

Frrrightattendant · 31/10/2009 10:04

yy but someone mentioned they prefer the times

AnyGhoulKno · 31/10/2009 10:05

I read the times - Caitlin Moran is worth the money on her own.

I've never noticed a tory bias...

AitchTwoToTangOh · 31/10/2009 10:05

oh right, gotcha.

brimfull · 31/10/2009 10:06

quite a good price for the kit -there's a million colours ,smokey one looks good. But how deep are those shadows , I mean amount.

I have a drawer full of makeup or I'd give it a try
