two glasses of wine and some green shoes, have I lost my focus?

Is it wine fuzz or do I actually quite like these? I do have a thing about green shoes just now.

I couldn't see any tie at all, most odd.

How did you know I had a problem with black Mambas on my verandah?

Strappy is fine, what sort of strappy did you have in mind?

I like ballerinas, I was just thinking that if the shoes are strappy, you can wear a much more vibrant perhaps or unusual colour than with a block effect.

Reason I was thinking that was when I mentioned lime green down below (as in not lime green), I remember a friend of mine had some flat strappy lime green leather sandals which actually worked quite well. She is a sculptor and a bit well avante-garde sometimes but not outre, she has style. Now in a million years that would not have occured to me but when the straps are very fine, you can get away with almost any colour, so long as it suits the tone of your skin.

ive never been able to understand the desire for leopard print it just always makes me think of Bet Lynch from Corrie or Lilo Lil from Bread

I saw a lot of leopard print shoes in Germany. Really a lot. Also gold shoes very popular in summer

I am used to it now (leopard that is, not used to gold as in bright yellowish gold shoes)

aaahhhhhh nooooo
I cannot be responsible for any purple shoes,

but ok with the rest. Bet they'll look great. I think with straight-forward black you can wear quite dramatic shoes. I'm less comfortable with patterned clothing and strongly coloured shoes etc.

However I'm not the fashion correspondant of Vogue or anything. I think that sounds like a good collection. Hope you have a lot of fun parties lined up to get some wear out ofthem

You have also got me thinking about some nice party shoes. I feel like being a bit daring. You should have seen some of the shoes I had when I lived in Venezuelas, Imelda Marcos would have yanked them straight off me!! Nowadays I am so boringly sedate

I won't get my hands on them until just before Christmas when dh goes to London and can pick them up from dsis.

There are plenty of things I wear here but wouldn't wear in the UK.

Venezuela, wow that must have been so interesting. What were you doing there? Perhaps you'd rather not divulge.......

That's nice, something to look forward to. Can't bear waiting myself though, want to wear something immediately when it is new.

What are the purple snakeskin ones like? Sound interesting.

I'd tell you what I was doing there - but not on the forum. I wasn't gun running or anything shameful like that but I give away so much on here, I think I need to be more secretive and not out us (well sh I suppose) too much.
