Is it wine fuzz or do I actually quite like these? I do have a thing about green shoes just now.

CybilWar · 27/10/2009 21:33

Wailing I like 'em

NorkilyChallenged · 27/10/2009 21:44

V disappointed by the purple turn things have taken. I am looking for green shoes and was hoping for more....

Don't like the glittery green ones though.

Themasterandmargaritas · 28/10/2009 04:51

millions of purple pointy shoes.

I got lost in the bottle.

I'm in the tropics, does that excuse my liking for purple and green shoes? If you lived here, you just wouldn't wear brown and black, you just wouldn't I'm telling you.

I'm afraid Johnny just doesn't cut it on this occasion, way too much toe cleavage.

If purple is out and these greenies are too synthetic, then what should I be wearing?

OP posts:
CybilAviationAuthority · 28/10/2009 11:33

who said purple was out?

Themasterandmargaritas · 28/10/2009 11:36

what's the conclusion on green?

I'm confused.

OP posts:
CybilAviationAuthority · 28/10/2009 11:37

green=yuck cheap

purple= loads more to choose from, classier colour

Themasterandmargaritas · 28/10/2009 11:44

phew, I thought I was abnormal there for a moment.

The Rocket Dogs are ok, but just a bit too pointy

OP posts:
pointyhat · 28/10/2009 18:37

It is not possible to be too pointy

SorciereAnna · 28/10/2009 18:48

The shoes in the OP would be perfect for some sort of amateur stage role as an elf .

ZZZenAgain · 29/10/2009 14:24

I'm assuming tanned feet/legs here, how about bronze shoes?

whispers so pointy won't notice: definitely don't do the purple....

Themasterandmargaritas · 29/10/2009 14:30

You know there's pointy and then there's pointy.

I've got a lovely tan just now thanks.

Yes, bronze are definitely a possibility. Très chic French lady had some on the other day.

you have another drink and keep looking into your green shoes now. There's green and green (let me sprinkle in some real wisdom here eh?).

Those ones in your OP are sort of ice -green , so pale they're really not going to be all that noticably green anyway and I think with tanned legs and a black dress they'd be quite discreet. I wouldn't like say lime green or anything like that but I think green could work

fishie · 29/10/2009 14:51

i quite like them too. be nice with a dark blue dress.

it is franny who is devoted to green shoes isn't it?

ZZZenAgain · 29/10/2009 14:53

is she? where she is then when she is needed?!!

I've never contemplated green shoes before but I think you might be starting a trend MM

Themasterandmargaritas · 29/10/2009 14:58

However, we must remember they will be shiney. Very shiney. How do we feel about that?

OP posts:
ZZZenAgain · 29/10/2009 15:09

hmm bit mermaidy dunno really
Is the covering a bit like netting? Just had another look at the first link

ZZZenAgain · 29/10/2009 15:13

I think you can keep looking at green but maybe those are too shiney and with the ribbon round the top and the bow maybe too much altogether IYSWIM.

Are you thinking day or evening wear?

ZZZenAgain · 29/10/2009 15:15

speaking of wine fuzz, how do you find a burgundy red for shoes? Too dark?

Sparkly beige I'd wear - in a more tropical environment than I'm currently in.

Themasterandmargaritas · 29/10/2009 15:47

oh evening deffo. I think it might be a bit much for the laid back school run.

Think colonial club like environment, black jersey dress or long black widelegs. They could possibly stretch to a garden bbq depending on the clientele.

Burgundy red, nope, not at all, not in the slightest. If you are going for burgundy, well, hell you may as well do purple.

OP posts:
Themasterandmargaritas · 29/10/2009 16:02

What about these? or these? here? I really like these I know, I know, they are neither bronze, nor purple and nowhere near green, but I rather like them anyhow.

OP posts:
ZZZenAgain · 29/10/2009 16:13

I don't do burgundy either- too close to purple ... or even pink

I didn't say that

ok let's see what you've got

ZZZenAgain · 29/10/2009 16:15

first one looks comfy and unfussy, second square toe I don't like, looks like it's been hacked off, like you were about to go out and had to hack the head off a black mamba on your veranda and got your toe by mistake

ZZZenAgain · 29/10/2009 16:16

leopard might be fun. I don't why they had to go and put that "relaxed tie" on it though, do you? I mean it is not like you can really see it.

so you don't like strappy things then?

ZZZenAgain · 29/10/2009 16:18

I like the leather heel and the rubber sole on the first pair. Can't stand shoes that rub your heel.
