Love love Wallis at the mo.

Got a soopah little frock or work the other week - a smidge short but fine with teal opaques. Bought in black, am considering in blue as well, it is sooo nice

Hang on, will link.

AitchTwoToTangOh · 25/10/2009 15:32

cyb, i think the green maxi twist is worth a look. if you could tie that ribbon into a loose tie knot and have it trailing it would be lovely imo.

sassy · 25/10/2009 15:33

lurvely

SausageRocket · 25/10/2009 15:34

Oh Sassy that is fab

MrsBadger · 25/10/2009 15:34

oh I have always like d Wallis
best of the concessions in my (otherwise shiteola) Debenhams

thier suits are often surprisingly passable

SausageRocket · 25/10/2009 15:36

I think we have a wallis. Can't say I've ever been bowled over by the stuff in there, some of the stuff on the site is nice though

SausageRocket · 25/10/2009 15:37

what's the fabric like though, sassy ? Mainly polyester so a bit sweaty ?

bodycolder · 25/10/2009 16:07

Gold bibbed one is the nicest very now!I love wallis and bonus is the sizes are BIG so you feel mini result!

sassy · 25/10/2009 16:40

Not sweaty at all, actually. Just feels like heavy weight jersey. Drapes really well.

I like

Frrrightattendant · 25/10/2009 16:47

This is weird, I can't see why any of these frocks are particularly nice, they all look like Dotty Ps to me.

(sorry)

bodycolder · 25/10/2009 16:48

sassy I linked to that dress once but no one seemed to like it iirc I think its fab

SimonHowl · 25/10/2009 18:24

That dress is lovely Sassy.

Trouble is, on me, it would not look good I fear as my tummy sticks out further than my chest (due to being flat-chested and having the equivalent of a 20 week pregnant tummy - not a good combo).

SimonHowl · 25/10/2009 18:37

i think i might have a look at the velvet one next month for said wedding.
haev leopard heels.

I'm off birthday present shopping for DP tomorrow so I'll pop into Wallis and try the velvet dress on as I think it could be the perfect "Oh my God. What on earth am I going to wear" dress to get me through Christmas and the New Year.

Hoping they have my size in the dress Sassy linked to as I'd love a really plain black dress I can throw on over tights and boots.

SimonHowl · 25/10/2009 18:52

dont you dare buy it
i hope theneckline is dipped enough not to make me look all tiitaaaaaaaaaaaarge.
