yaya!

Mumsnut · 26/10/2009 20:39

How weird. I ordered and they didn't ask for credit card details. Delivery on Wednesday, apparently. Do they send an invoice? Have I obtained a sort of virtual storecard?

triffictits · 26/10/2009 20:52

mine have arrived today.

hmmm I'm not sure, I do like them and material etc is good, but just not sure yet. I had some other stuff to take back to Next today though and took it, but NOT the jeggings, so I am thinking that I am leaning more towards liking them!

I bought a new suit for work too while I was in there today. Some nice stuff in there at the moment.

soyabean · 29/10/2009 21:40

Oh well I tried the Next ones on but they are too low waisted for me and produced horrible muffiny top...didnt like the look of them either - they have back pockets which seem a bit pointless. Then I tried some on Wallis which were a bit more structured and have a side zip and higher waist. Nearly nice but i have decided they are just not for me. Wrong age, no good, will just wear jeans!

TrickOrTreatersDragOnYourNoose · 30/10/2009 16:20

Well, I decided to buy some. I've been wearing them half a day and have spent the entire time hoisting them up. Will most likely not be wearing them again.

StephHaydock · 30/10/2009 16:24

Christ almighty. Are you a size 6 and under 21 yrs old? I hope so!

paddingtonbear1 · 30/10/2009 16:25

Mine finally arrived today, but I dare not venture out in them - they are so tight on the thigh (my thighs are not really in proportion to the rest of me). Think I;ll have to take them back.

Hm, I'm torn as I really like mine but....

they kind of ruche up around the knees and down the seams. Ruins the look. I'm guessing it means that my legs are too fat curvy for them Very sad as I already sized up and am not willing to size up again. Plus the waistband fits nicely, as do hips.

Real shame, as I have decided I love the look. I've never owned skinnies but may have to look at some.

Trouble is, was attracted to jeggings in the first place by the lack of uncomfy bulk round the middle/horrible zips/stiff seams and all the rest that make me Hate jeans.

trixymalixy · 30/10/2009 16:55

Eewww jeggings are hideous. Saw a member of staff in New Look yesterday wearing a pair with a short top which made her bum look enormous. They had also gone all baggy round the thighs. Yuck

CybilLiberty · 30/10/2009 16:56

They are almost control leggings

NorkilyChallenged · 30/10/2009 16:57

Also, I realised I spend a lot of time sitting cross-legged or on my ankles (dealing with toddlers) and Next jeggings cut off the circulation to lower leg.

Am clearly too chunky of leg for this look.

SimpleAsABC · 30/10/2009 17:07

If...

I buy a pair of these, can I wear them tucked into my uggs with a nice top?

Size 14 jeans from next are a bit big and need a belt, where as 12s are too tight and I constantly need to pull them up to keep the flubber under control.

12 or 14?

Thanks

AlaskaNebraska · 30/10/2009 17:13

they are slim of calf but i saw someone today in a diffo type wiht amterial hangin off hte back of her knees.

i wore them( get the smaller size then no hithcing up also when you put hem ON Dragon carefully get them in the right position on the leg before oyu stride forth. I find becuase the calf is so tight it can pull the top donw so hoist up form the calf - ok?

AlaskaNebraska · 30/10/2009 17:13

12

bodycolder · 30/10/2009 17:15

You need a tight pair!Although looking around brighton today I fear they are coming to the end of their sell by as they are definitely becoming a bit of a middle aged uniform. So far I find they all go a bit baggy eventually

Dear god, if I get the smaller size I won't be able to bend my legs

Woman in store was very helpful finding me a long pair from the store room though. I've always liked that about Next.

paddingtonbear1 · 03/11/2009 13:35

well I did end up with a pair of black ones from Next, I went for the larger size though which I might regret later if they go baggy at all! Going to wear them tonight with a longer top.
