ADragonIs4LifeNotJustHalloween · 21/10/2009 20:06

How do they differ from skinny jeans ?

Ronaldinhio · 21/10/2009 20:11

they are much tighter than my skinnies

also i've seen so many people look either like parsnips or slags in them that I can't do it
shan't

sassy · 21/10/2009 20:13

lol at looking like a parsnip or a hooker. Snort.

bibbitybobbityCAT · 21/10/2009 20:13

Parsnips!!! - genius.

(I would look like a potato balancing on a parsnip if I went there).

MacaroonIncident · 21/10/2009 20:29

lol
tighter
no arse crack
no bagging at knees
no belt issues

cocolepew · 21/10/2009 20:30

My incredible skinny DD aged 7 had a pair on, she looked like a biro.

MamaG · 21/10/2009 20:31

lol at parsnips!!!

MacaroonIncident · 21/10/2009 20:32

ah did she have the tights version or material?

ADragonIs4LifeNotJustHalloween · 21/10/2009 20:33

so, they still make you look like a, er, well I was going to say "carrot" but I see "parsnip" has been offered up so we'll go with that.

cocolepew · 21/10/2009 20:36

Who me? erm, cheap Tesco ones.

MacaroonIncident · 21/10/2009 20:36

no i think they make me look nice.
sorry!

tulpe · 21/10/2009 20:51

YAY!! Think my quest for jeggings has been solved by the glorious OP

Victorious, I bow to you and shall be heading to Next in the morning to pur-chase a pair of their finest black jeggings sans arse crackage and knee bagginess

MacaroonIncident · 21/10/2009 20:52

really I wore them from 7 45 to work and then home and hten out wiht kids to sport.

andthey were still ok.

fishie · 21/10/2009 20:59

i am the original parsnip shape and i love jeggings. but might defect from top shop to next because they keep falling off, have they got grey ones op?

ThisPhantomPlopsPumpkins · 21/10/2009 21:02

How high is the waist? Too high for pregnant women? The pair I got from H&M went very baggy.

MacaroonIncident · 21/10/2009 21:12

waist is prefect.
high enough to be comfy but not odd

dotn THINk grey

fishie · 21/10/2009 21:21

poo. i have grey topshops upstairs but it is not dignified to be tugging at them.

fishie · 21/10/2009 21:36

what colour the stitching? have got crap charingx next branch nearby, can order to there i suppose. always such a grim experience.

MacaroonIncident · 21/10/2009 21:42

HOW many posts on a jeggin now?

fishie · 21/10/2009 21:45

well i could carry on all night...
i like them. i had men's red long johns with fly sewn up in 80s when leggings were not easily available.

back tomorrow re anthropologie and falke footless lovelies.

triffictits · 21/10/2009 21:46

Top Shop and New Look ones looked crap when I saw them.

I have just ordered these VS, I thank you!

largeginandtonic · 21/10/2009 21:51

I am getting them, they look great.

I have been living in my Martha jeans from Top Shop BUT a bit too much material to tuck in makes them ruck up and be irritating.

Bargain too.

If i look shocking you must tell me OP

SixtyFootDoll · 21/10/2009 21:55

i am hourglass
have been wearing these esxact jeggings from Next fo about a month now#
they are fab
squish everything in
love em

janeite · 21/10/2009 21:58

You wore them to school? Blimey - I'd be sent home if I turned up in something like that.

Sorry but I think they are hideous.
