This season is the first i've shopped at boden and i must say i am hooked. I love the patterns, the brightness and the all round happy feel. Am interested in what you've all been buying and what you still have you're beady eyes on.....

  1. I've bought: 4 round neck crew tops, 2 round neck stripe cardigans, 2 fun tank tops, 1 hand printed cardigan, 1 cloudspotter mac and have a merino tunic on order in ink and pink (am hoping this will be flattering and fab!)

  2. I still want: the rainbow cuff cardigan, a fun skirt and a printed skirt. Am still losing last of baby weight though so will wait till it's gone before buying skirts.

  3. on sale i will be fancying: skirts and trousers. Will perhaps try a dress or 2 as well.

So tell me about you....will be good to see roughly how many pieces you all buy each season on average!

The ditsy top is long in the body, although to be honest I'm not a very good judge as I'm only 5ft4! It seems long to me though.

SausageRocket · 21/09/2009 18:27

Frig

Henley Knitted tunic in shocking pink

chattermouse · 21/09/2009 18:29

Be quick on the heart warming henley in grey, it is going out of stock in most sizes......

SausageRocket · 21/09/2009 18:34

I know, I like it but not enough to spend £45 on it

rookiemater · 21/09/2009 18:36

I got the uptown jeans in black with a £10.00 off voucher I got for doing a survey and a 10% discount. Very odd because their sizing for the same garment in different shades is not the same, I got the 14R last season in vintage denim and they weren't quite long enough but nicely fitted, whereas the black ones are slightly too baggy. Couldn't be arsed returning them though as they are ok.

SausageRocket · 21/09/2009 18:36

actually, just seen it has 3/4 length sleeves. Don't covet it anymore. That's a shame.

llareggub · 21/09/2009 18:45

I'm expecting the cord blazer any day now. I also bought a knitted dress, print skirt and cords at the Boden shopping party. It was the "buy three items and get the fourth for £1" offer.

I'm really pleased with the dress and the skirt. The cords are lovely and soft but I'm not overly keen on the fit.

I tried on the black shiney boots and the were lovely but no way would I spend that much on boots.

janeite · 21/09/2009 18:49

Nothing / nada/ zilch. Don't like anything this time round - feel as if I've seen it all before tbh.

Grisette · 21/09/2009 18:51

ditsy print top is lovely in pink too. I didn't like the green, I thought it was going to be brighter. I've got the denim mini ( watchout it comes up quite long) and am going to get the parisenne top in blue. I want the navy coat with red buttons and the 60 style jacket but can afford neither.

flowerybeanbag · 21/09/2009 20:07

I seem to have bought loads, even though I can't wear any of it yet because I am 33 weeks pg.

I've got two Henley dresses, one blue one black, one knitted wrap dress in grey, two Parisienne t-shirts, a brown cord mini skirt, a rugby shirt, a kaleidoscope tunic and an essential v-neck.

I've got quite a few things for DS as well, including a new winter coat which is on its way.

chattermouse · 21/09/2009 20:30

Thats a lotta loot you've got yourself there flowery! Something to look forward to having after the birth! Have you put on much weight? Lets hope your not like me... after i had dd3 i had nearly 3 stone to shift . Now, 6 months later i am back to an 8-10 and i can finally get into my clothes and some nice new boden ones i have bought too.....

flowerybeanbag · 21/09/2009 20:41

I know, it is a lot. I don't quite know how that happened really.. My credit card is looking the worse for wear!

Haven't put on weight really no, other than the bump. I'm still in my normal Topshop jeans but with the button undone and a ginormous bump poking out the top.

I was the same last time. Never weighed myself but all that needed to happen after DS arrived was my tummy to go back down. No major weight loss campaign or anything required.

Am v lucky I know, and it's looking like it will be the same this time which is why I feel fairly safe ordering clothes in the knowledge they should fit me shortly after DS2 arrives.

chattermouse · 21/09/2009 21:08

Lucky you..but i'm guessing you missed out on the boxes of chocs and tubs of hagen daz i enjoyed scoffing whilst up the duff .Seriously though, you do right. It has been crap not fitting my clothes for 6 minths! Still, it's nearly gone now thank god, lol!

Is the kaleidoscope tunic the merino one? If so, what colour did you go for? i have ordered it in ink and pink, am hoping it will look gorgeous.

It's this one, I've got it in the cranberry, it's really lovely.

chattermouse · 21/09/2009 21:44

That is lovely - bet would look ace as dress too with tights and heels. Am hoping that the tunic i ordered will be ok as a dress or with jeans.

Chatter, I haven't got a clue how it works, presume it to be a bit like Bodyshop in the concept. I got an email saying there was one in my area and it gave me an address to email, which the nosey parker in me did, little did I expect there to be one practically on my doorstep (it is at a very posh girls school - says it all really ). Mind you a lot of them are boarders so the mummies will not be there unless they send the daughters with daddy's credit card! There was a list of dates and venues in other areas too. Hang on will see if I can find the email.

FimboFortuna · 21/09/2009 22:50

mwff · 21/09/2009 22:53

lol i saw how long this had got and assumed it had degenerated into a slagfest...

Clary · 21/09/2009 22:58

I have the waterproof school run mac (not called that but should be) with the fleecy lining.

Also the warm padded jacket for DS1.

Lust after: circle pattern velvet skirt; patent leather 60s style handbag for £99; tweed jacket in spotty blue; cashmere cropped cardi. Also shiny silver plimsolls but that would just be silly .

ooooh fimbo, boden parties, what an idea

happilyeverafter · 21/09/2009 23:02

I have bought for me:

2 parisienne tshirts and 2 everyday cardis.

Things I didn't like and sent back: heartwarming henley (short/tight/unflattering), rainbow cuff cardi (colours so-so) and urban mac (too straight) and flattering dress (not flattering)

Currently waiting for silver plimsolls and henley dress.

DD has had way too much to list! Kitted her out with everything, she looks very bright and beautiful

Clary · 21/09/2009 23:05

ahh you are all buying silver plimsolls.

You mean these don't you?

mmmmmmm

happilyeverafter · 21/09/2009 23:10

Yup those Clary.

Fancy them in the patent green too, will wait until the silver arrive before ordering more though.

LetThemEatCake · 21/09/2009 23:41

Ahem. I would just like to point out, dear Dilly, that I have bought nothing from netaporter since May.
Not a thing.

I have, however, made my first ever Boden purchase- the Henley dress in black. Don't really love it, but practical enough. Don't like any of the other stuff at all. And agree sizing is weird: bought the 10R to wear after pregnancy, yet it fits perfectly now, despite being 5'10" and 40 weeks pregnant this week....

DillyTantay · 22/09/2009 06:53

as was wondering if youd popped today

cornsillk · 22/09/2009 07:06

I've got loads for ds2 - he loves their stuff.
For me the biker jacket in brown and also the vintage dress in purple but is on wait of 8 weeks. In sale I want another biker jacket in blue maybe and henley dress.
