OOh, lovely! (Although I linked to it as another MNer had done in another thread a few days earlier so she must take credit.)

I'm having that (and a complete wardrobe rehaul) just as soon as i get my damned MSc thesis to the binders.

Tell me more-is it light?
Doesn't make onle look like a womble does it?

Can you give me idea of your dimensions (if not too forward) so I can mentally tally with own?

tulpe · 12/09/2009 12:32

I love that cardigan. It looks gorgeous and v stylish.

Have never really looked at Isabella Oliver before. Sadly, grey isn't really my colour (altho I do wear it sometimes). Wish they did it in a sumptuous chocolate brown

Sazisi · 12/09/2009 12:35

It's lovely
Oh the wantiness!

There's a lot of stuff I want there. What do you think of the draped skirt?

LetThemEatCake · 12/09/2009 15:45

moondog - do you mean light, as in the colour? or the texture? It's chunky, very warm ... am actually quite looking forward to the colder weather now so that I can wear it, and that's saying something!!! am usually very about cold weather...

I don't think I look like a womble... put it this way, dh ripped the "returns will not be accepted unless this tag is attached" tag off saying "no bloody way are you returning that, it's bloody gorgeous"

tulpe - they definitely need to extend their colour range, choc brown would be heaven!! Even black/ charcoal would be nice. Or a deep wine colour

Sazisi - that draped skirt is lovely, very stylish!! would last you ages.

oh sorry moondog - dimensions:
am 5'10", very heavily pregnant (due next week) but usually about 10stone, size 10ish - you can look at my profile if you want

I'm due on xmas day and think that would be a great birthday (Nov) present from DH for me - fab for postnatal wear too as well as late pregnancy. Love it.

LetThemEatCake · 12/09/2009 15:52

yes, post natal I was thinking perfect - forgiving on any remaining bulk, warm enough to bf in the park when the other dcs need to be out and about, drapey enough to be discreet and to keep bubba warm!!

For non-babycentric wear, will wear with leather pencil skirt, high black ankle boots, opaques and l/s black top... tres versatile!!

OMG That cardigan is lovely. I'm tempted but I already have the DKNY, and the White Co Cardicoat...

LetThemEatCake · 12/09/2009 17:10

yes, but it's nearly winter!!!

I'm stopping here ... have this, the White Co Cardicoat on order (have you got yours already?? what's it like??) the travelwrap and my mum is making me the blanket cardi .... think I'll try to get through winter without a coat ..

OP posts:
moondog · 12/09/2009 17:33

Is this the White Company cardicoat you have?

Lovely!
They've sent me a 20% discount catalogue but not sure that in it...

moondog · 12/09/2009 17:34

Oh yes it is!

LetThemEatCake · 12/09/2009 18:31

yep that's it ... 20% grrrr very jealous, although I did get 15% off ... get it, get it!!!

btw, I got a 15% off code with my IO order so could always get the cosy for you when you're ready? don't want it to go to waste and can't see myself getting anything else from there for the time being....

OP posts:
moondog · 12/09/2009 21:44

Did you??!
Can I have it please!

LetThemEatCake · 12/09/2009 23:50

of course you can - but ... is it not a personal code (ie linked to my purchase details, address etc??) Would it be transferable? I wouldn't mind just checking that out since the nature of my work means that I would hate to pee off any of the IO girls .. but if that's the case, am happy to purchase for you and send it on, you can pay me back with paypal or whatever?

OP posts:
moondog · 12/09/2009 23:52

Oh gosh, I don't want to put you out at all! I don't have Paypal either I don't think..

Really, it's fine.
I'll get this bloody thesis done and dusted then get onto them. I'm pretty good at negotiating own discounts tbh so may have a go.

moondog · 12/09/2009 23:53

I don't think codes are personal though. It is known that they are swapped and exchanged. Entire websites are devoted to them.

LetThemEatCake · 12/09/2009 23:54

no worries then, all yours. Bear with me, will go upstairs and get it.

OP posts:
LetThemEatCake · 12/09/2009 23:58

RTC158

valid until 30 November - but tarry not!!! the weather will get chilly long before then - and you need something gorgeous waiting for you for when the thesis is done!

OP posts:
moondog · 13/09/2009 00:07

Thank you. Will give it a whirl and what a lovely incentive twill be to get this swine done and dusted!

LetThemEatCake · 13/09/2009 00:13

let me know what you think of it when it arrives!! I didn;t want to take mine off today, was quite gutted when it got really warm!

and good luck with your thesis

OP posts:
moondog · 13/09/2009 09:48

Thank you.
I will indeed come back with a review.

CHOOGIRL · 13/09/2009 14:13

OK Willpower lasted less than 24 hours. Have now ordered! White Co Cardicoat is wonderful and soft and looks lovely on. Have just realised that I now need something to keep me warm with this Will a pashmina do?

flowerybeanbag · 13/09/2009 17:32

What size do I need if I were to be very naughty and get one?

I am a 10-12 normally.

LetThemEatCake · 13/09/2009 18:49

Choogirl, I think a pashmina is your only option - anything else will detract from the gorgeousness of the dress. Oooh, here might be where you need a TravelWrap!!!! I am so jealous that you have WC CC already - I want mine!!!!!

Flowery - I am also a 10-12 and bought a M, which appears to be perfect ... but I'd buy an S and an M to be on the safe side and then send one back

And I strongly advise you to be very naughty and get one as soon as possible!!!! I have been in mine all day, lovely!!!

OP posts:
moondog · 13/09/2009 19:41

CHOO< that is indeed beautiful bt i fear a pashmina will look a bit bleurgh with it.Not sure what woulg go though...

Maybe it would work if it never drept higher than elbows?
