Having said that, I am indeed lusting after fab grotesquely expensive long grey affair waterfall styleee myself. Isabelle Oliver had one someone else linked to a while back that I have thoguht of all week.

LetThemEatCake · 06/09/2009 19:10

get your knickers back on you lot.

I want my mum to knit something along these lines, in wool. Am going to breastfeeding this winter and the drapiness looks like it could be useful.

Missed out on the lovely drapey cashmere one at White Company, it sold out.

EleanoraBuntingCupcake, please could I have the pattern you mentioned??

This one. But don't they just do gear fro pregnat folk?

AttilaTheMeerkat · 06/09/2009 19:11

Sorry but no I don't like this particular piece of clothing. Its too expensive for what it is.

Toast have this sort of style in wool rather than acrylic.

TheCrackFox · 06/09/2009 19:11

Well, you should have said so. A handknitted one from you mum for BF would be divine.

moondog · 06/09/2009 19:12

Thios from white co. Bit saclkile mebbe??

nevergoogledragonbutter · 06/09/2009 19:12

EleanoraBuntingCupcake · 06/09/2009 19:12

LetThemEatCake · 06/09/2009 19:15

EleanoraBuntingCupcake · 06/09/2009 19:17

LetThemEatCake · 06/09/2009 19:18

EBC - I did send her an email the other day asking her to join Ravelry but don't think she's done it yet ... would you be able to email it to me?

OP posts:
EleanoraBuntingCupcake · 06/09/2009 19:18

LetThemEatCake · 06/09/2009 19:19

OP posts:
LetThemEatCake · 06/09/2009 19:25

EleanoraBuntingCupcake · 06/09/2009 19:31

give me a few ticks. your mother could do another repeat of the cable for more coverage.

Clure · 06/09/2009 20:30

a colleague had this on and it looked gorgeous on. I'm hankering after it but when I looked in store they didn't have my size and on the website they only do grey!

Jewelsandgems · 06/09/2009 20:35

LTEC I know you have very good taste. And I like the shape of this, but lots of material. (although, if you have a baby who is sick occasionally, the extra material can double as a muslin square?)

LetThemEatCake · 06/09/2009 20:39

dragonbutter, are you still there? thanks to Ms Cupcake emailing me the cardi pattern, I noticed for the first time an email from ASOS with a 20% off discount code ... expires midnight tonight though!!!!

I like clarks shoes....

ninah · 06/09/2009 20:41

I was given something along these lines but they are a pain cos no fastening, you are always dragging the ends around you

RubyBlueberry · 06/09/2009 20:42

I like the cardi. But not the price.

moondog · 06/09/2009 20:42

Kookai and M&S both nice but i worry about chunky cotton. It gets saggy and lifeless sometimes (or is it just moi?)

LetThemEatCake · 06/09/2009 20:43

well ninah, you are welcome to post it to me... I am the Anti-Fastening....

OP posts:
LetThemEatCake · 06/09/2009 20:43

moondog, you have to handwash and then dry flat, pull into shape etc. Tis a pain.

I dry clean just about everything
