Skribble, my cousin had laser treatment for acne scars and was really pleased with the results.

eldestgirl · 14/05/2005 12:19

MAC studiofix, fab for shine
Any old black mascara
MAC eyeshadow singles
Bobbi Brown blush and shimmer pad
white eyeliner
Tony&Tina: lip gloss and for evenings out, a fab glitter eyeliner that makes you look like Carrie from SATC (IMO anyway!)
Never go anywhere without Bobbi Brown tinted lip balm

purpleturtle · 14/05/2005 13:11

So long as I have my Lancome lippy and mascara I'm happy

Thomcat · 14/05/2005 13:33

I've got in my bag

Mac blusher
Mac mascara
Christian Dior mascara
5 Mac eyeshadows - Shroom / carbon (I use instead of an eye pencil / mulch / concrete / electra
Clarins - Instant light
vaseline
Lancome lip gloss
Clinique lip stick /gloss
clinique brushes
A neals yard lemon and mint mouth spray
a little jo malone perfume

Thomcat · 14/05/2005 13:34

oh my essentials, well as I wear make up about once a month I guess non of them are essential.
If I had to save 3 items I'd save my blusher, a mascara and lancome gloss

milge · 14/05/2005 13:42

essentials:
cleansing wipes
mascara
touche eclat
Eau Dynamisante

marypoppins · 17/05/2005 16:22

I use Benefit too. Really recommend the Dr Feelgood, clear waxy stuff that really improves your complexion and good for your skin too - no messy foundation needed then. Why don't you have a Benefit or Mac makeover? Choose an assistant with decent make up on herself!

mozarellamamma · 19/05/2005 15:39

hola

I'm a bit obsessive about makeup - sooo I know my essentials might seem a bit exessive but here we go:-
becca concealer
becca cream blusher
chantecaille foundation (PURE HEAVEN!)
mac blot powder
mac irredesdcent powder
lancome mascara
elizabeth arden 8 hour cream
eyebrow brush and a selection of mac eye powders
I do sound like a trollop don't I. By the way does anyone have a reccomendation for an all in one foundation - I was thinking ahead about post birth in the hopital ... ? All advice welcomly received. xx

kama - I'm not quite a mum yet (will be in october tho'!) so maybe i'll just end up with a tube of vaseline then..?!?

oops i forgot tweezers too (tho I had my brows waxed trimmed and dyed by the amazing shivata in harrods once and it was the best...)

expatinscotland · 19/05/2005 16:31

kiel's no. 1 has it all over vaseline.

Lippie (coloured glossyish)
Clarins Beauty flash balm
Touche Eclat type stuff

That'll do me!

littlerach · 19/05/2005 17:21

Have you tired E45 emolient wash?
My skin went very dry afetr having DD2 and this worked brilliantly.

katierocket · 19/05/2005 17:45

foxd · 19/05/2005 18:20

prettyfly1 · 20/05/2005 16:58

guerlain bronzer

touche eclat

lancome juicy tubes in watermelon

Bourjois coup de theatre mascara

heated eyelash curlers

tweezers

virgin vie angle balm!!!

vickiyumyum · 22/05/2005 20:37

just got paid and as usual headed off to the house of fraser cosmetics hall! have now just discovered elizabeth arden eight hour hand cream and the normal cream its fantastic, especially in my line of work, i lose count of the amount of times i wash my hands each day, also a great green eyeshadow from clarins called forest which makes my eyes look even greener and stays put for most of the day.
got good freebies from the clarins, elizabeth arden and clinique counters!

sansouci · 22/05/2005 20:40

Moisturiser, tweezers for odd hair sprouting from chin, foundation. I can live without the rest but probably need it.

Indeed they are tweezermans but only the slanted ones...sadly I lost my pointy ones and I searched my fave chemist on Wigmore St. to no avail. Anyway they do and they're pink!

Kama - yes it is worth it seeing Shivata she's lovely too. Easy to book in - no wait - I idid pop in over a lunch when I was at work tho'. Oooh tell me if you go ... .

And Amanda Lacey facials come highly reccommeded too. I could go on but don't want to bore as I could go on forever....

bonym · 26/05/2005 17:45

I am lazy about applying make-up but don't like going out without any on (because I just look ill!) so I like stuff that is long lasting. Can't do without:

Max Factor Lipfinity
Benefit Benetint (cheek and lip stain)
Blinc Kiss Me mascara (which is fab - doesn't budge at all - only comes off with water and gentle pressure

Also facial wipes for cleansing as they're so quick! Used to think I couldn't do without Creme De La Mer for my dry skin but it now seems to have stopped working (which I'm sort of glad about because it costs a fortune!)
