I have been looking online at various fascinators and just think they look stupid. I have always worn hats to weddings in the past however I have quite a striking dress for this years weddings which calls for something a bit more understated.
I can't do the fascinator thing ladies. It's just not me.Maybe I could just wear a flower? What do you think? Real flower or fabric?
Sorry. Am rambling now.....

No one who wears a fascinator can be fascinating

6 weeks time sees me as mother of the groom and feeling the need to 'make an effort' even though I abhor hats. But all hats in the shops are ghastly asymmetrical square topped jobs, not unlike the mad hatter. Might be fine on a young beauty but not on an ordinary m-aged woman. So, is a 'fascinator' the only alternative? I don't relish the idea of looking like an exotic tropical bird or as if a tarantula has clamped itself onto my head. My hair's quite nice - thick, shiny, natural blonde in a below the chin bob but I know I'll feel as if I'm not trying if I don't titivate it a bit. M-o-B is wearing a fascinator. What's a woman to do?

Fascinators are great - ideal for formal occaisions such as weddings without resorting to a stupid frumpy hat.
