I couldn't help myself. I bought 2 Mulberry bags yesterday in the factory shop and am scared to tell DH.

In my defence, they were priced at 50% off the already lowered price as they were 'damaged' but had been fully repaired by the factory!

I got a black Bayswater and a brown Roxy. (Normal colours are like gold dust in the factory outlets.) I only went in to get some diary inserts (belatedly).

Feel slightly guilty, but it would have been crazy not to - wouldn't it??
Please come and reasuure me I have in fact been very sensible.

Sorry triffictits, that doesn't ring any bells. Maybe you could call the outlet and ask them. They often stock styles from several 'seasons' ago.

I have still not told DH about my purchases but am in lurrve with both bags. I am hust carefully storing them away before he gets home. I have so many bags, he may not actually notice anyway.
I am starting work soon, so can easily waffle something aout my first pay cheque and a celebratory purchase.

Thanks for the tip, we've been on hols this week and actually happened to pass through Shepton Mallett on the way back. I made DH sat nav the Mulberry shop so we popped in this morning!

It's lovely there, I could have spent a fortune, there was a beautiful chocolate Bayswater for a mere £346 but there were only a few bags in the "gone off" section and all looked a bit battered and bruised. They had a patent cream bayswater which was very scuffed and still £175.

Definitely worth a visit though, a really good choice of bags and clothes, reduced to reasonable prices (nice grey jumper for £29 from £99!)

Why do you have to tell dh? Do you mean he would actually notice that you have got a new handbag?

He might notice the bank statement ...

My dh wouldn't know a Mulberry from a Florence & Fred. Reckon I could easily get away with that if I paid cash

My dh would notice, and would buy them for me if he liked them (took the precaution of marrying an Italian ).

Anyway, bet they were cheaper than a new telly, and much nicer and more useful.

It's just down the road from Babington House if any of you wish to make a weekend of it
(that's not an invitation btw, I'm just feeling as sharp as a rice pudding and have lost the ability to structure a sentence)

all the outlets do mail order, they will post a bag out to you for £7.50

most bags are 30% off

Am I the only one who doesn´t like?

I often find the bags get uglier the more they cost.

I love that you are giving us not just the telephone number but the address, postcode and directions

Are you trying to share your guilt with us?

Is it really rude to ask how much you paid for them? (Just so I can be really green with envy!) Has anyone rung them to see if they'd post a bag? I am beginning to hyperventilate myself here! Live in Ireland, so not much of a chance of making it to Somerset, but hey! I could be tempted!!!

Did they have any Phoebes? I crave one, especially in green...

This is a thread from almost a year ago! I doubt very much the stock/prices would apply now.

Too far for me to go, wonder if they have similar sales at Bicester Village.

they had half price mulberry bags in biscester. I am not that into handbags but there were some familiar ones all about half price. for example there was a lovely holdall priced at 350 instead of 800. So bargains to be had

celinestar that's not an authentic Mulberry outlet. It's a very bad fake site.

Grrr I thought 20% off my £1k mulberry was good, it's beautiful though Smile They should install a factory shop in Surrey.
