Only wanted to see what she was wearing and actually really like it!

[pat on head for hunker too]

William and Harry are both Spencers, aren't they? William is a Diana/Charles (S) clone and Harry is a Jane/Sarah one. Very little Windsor there at all - why they seem so human, probably!

It looked more Pucci than Gucci to me.

LGJ · 10/04/2005 11:28

I have just read the whole of this thread and laughed like a drain, thanks girls I really needed that.

JanH · 10/04/2005 11:35

Oh yes, defo Pucci, thanks for link iota - blinding is right! (Nice though).

I definitely read Gucci somewhere, now I have to find it again for a quiet snigger.

Was wondering, I hope you will post your luggage pics for us?

JanH · 10/04/2005 12:28

Scoop from NOTW - wouldn't want any of you to miss this:

OUR lip-reading expert followed the day's events. Here's what she found out..

Wills: "Which way are we going? Ah, this way"

Wills to Harry: "A bit nippy today"

Charles and Camilla in car on Park Street turning into crowds;

Camilla to Charles, looking at the crowds: "Quite a few here"

Camilla to Charles on arrival: "Here we are"

Sir Michael Wheaton to Charles as he leaves car: "Good luck, sir. Enjoy"

Leaving register office:

Wills to Harry and Tom Parker Bowles: "Very happy with that"

Charles to Camilla: "This way"

Camilla turning to Harry and Wills: "Come on"

Wills in response: "No. Go on, you go"

WideWebWitch · 10/04/2005 12:30

Oh thanks Janh, I wondered what they were all saying!

Munchkinola · 10/04/2005 12:31

OMG how could we have missed such highlights!

WideWebWitch · 10/04/2005 12:31

How banal though!

JanH · 10/04/2005 12:36

Some more here indicating that Her Maj was being a bit of a moo. She certainly looked a bit grumpy but who knows...

sorrel · 10/04/2005 12:36

yes'where's the Queen? how ODD! If that last bit is true what a horrible way to behave from her maj.

WideWebWitch · 10/04/2005 12:48

Janh, I've got this book, people like us which is a journo dissecting what it means to be a member of the aristocracy - he talks amusingly aout that braying saying nothing type stuff the royals and their ilk do so well. So in a way the banality doesn't surprise me.
