Only wanted to see what she was wearing and actually really like it!

suedonim, it was one of those vague colours that looked different to everybody I think - the minute-by-minute said (and I'm glad Munchkinola quoted it earlier because it has been edited out now, porcupine and all):

"The duchess has changed into, without a word of sarcasm, a really beautiful outfit. At first I thought it was silver, then light powdery green, but have now been informed that it's porcelain blue. A floor length dress and matching coat, it seems to have gold brocade winding around it. It really is lovely. Unfortunately, she's topped it all off with what appears to be half a dead porcupine."

there wa cheese on my pizza at Frankie and Benny's if that's any use to you Stilton.

BTW are you related to Parmesan and Emmental?

iota · 09/04/2005 18:37

stilton · 09/04/2005 18:38

WideWebWitch · 09/04/2005 18:38

I thought it was grey too. Hmm, for someone anti royals I'm far too interested in this aren't I?

parmesan · 09/04/2005 18:39

parmesan · 09/04/2005 18:42

is Wills going a bit thin on top?

I prescribe more cheese

suedonim · 09/04/2005 18:42

Apparently they've left for Scotland now. 17yo dd was going to wave to C&C (dunno why, as she's a Republican of the first order) as they drove past her bedroom window on the way to Balmoral (or 'Immoral', as we like to call it) but when I told her they'll be using the other road dd said she couldn't be *rsed to go out in the cold.

motherinferior · 09/04/2005 18:42

I of course have an impeccable record in Matters of the Heart (to use a euphemism)

sorrel · 09/04/2005 18:42

hehehe www you are as bad as me!

JanH · 09/04/2005 18:43

And talking of Andrew P-B, one of the comments in the Predictable today said this:

"As a final absurdity, the Bishop of Salisbury tells the prince that he should apologise publicly to Camilla's wronged first husband. This isn't a gossip column, but let me just say that, in what still passes for society, the idea that any man should have to apologise to Brigadier Andrew Parker Bowles for offences against marital fidelity will have been greeted with unbridled merriment."

("Things that make you go hmmm" as popbitch would say!)

Munchkinola · 09/04/2005 18:46

Glad I have my uses

suedonim · 09/04/2005 18:47

I did read the porcupine bit, Janh. Very funny, I must say - dh wondered why I was laughing like a drain!

Isn't Andrew P-B happily married to A Younger Model nowadays?

jangly · 09/04/2005 18:49

Yeah - thanks JanH. I forgot she was divorced and married again. Its all a bit confusing!

WideWebWitch · 09/04/2005 18:52

He is suedonim, married in 1996 according to Hello, sorrel, this is for you!

bakedpotato · 09/04/2005 19:12

Can't believe I ended up sitting down and watching this.
Made mistake of telling DD, 3, that a prince was getting married, so there was no escape. She was very disappointed. I think she expected Chazzer to be wearing tights and purple cloak and knee-high boots. Plus, he'd be a lot younger with Angel Whip hair.

Plus -- Me: 'Did you expect a queen to look like that?'

DD (with appalled look at HMQ): 'Not really.'

But yes I did think Camilla looked really rather lush.

noddyholder · 09/04/2005 19:14

williams hair is going

JanH · 09/04/2005 19:14

Who asked about "Just Married" on the car earlier?

From the Beeb:

Mud · 09/04/2005 19:18

My but Harry really does look like that James Hewitt doesn't he?

Satine · 09/04/2005 19:24

Sorry, haven't had time to read the whole thread but I thought she looked bloody good - gorgeous outfit for the blessing, that coat was fabulous - and they both looked truly happy. Good luck to them!
