Have to say was waiting for the wind to catch the hem of Zara's dress - don't think it would have left much to the imagination !! Pattern added inches too.

unicorn · 09/04/2005 16:42

Anyone else thought the boys and Charlie were pissed as Royal newts?

and was Harry Goosestepping again (he just can't help himself that boy)

Shame about Camilla's face (bag of spanners springs to mind)- but the dress was lovely- very stylish.

Thought they looked very well suited, what a shame he wasted all those years with his faux marriage to the virgin bride.

"The duchess has changed into, without a word of sarcasm, a really beautiful outfit. At first I thought it was silver, then light powdery green, but have now been informed that it's porcelain blue. A floor length dress and matching coat, it seems to have gold brocade winding around it. It really is lovely. Unfortunately, she's topped it all off with what appears to be half a dead porcupine."

The minute by minute commentary is very funny

sorrel · 09/04/2005 16:47

who said that munch?

fuzzywuzzy · 09/04/2005 16:48

It's in the Guardian sorrel

sorrel · 09/04/2005 16:51

they really said that about the porcupine( acurate , but still)?LOL

Munchkinola · 09/04/2005 16:54

"Good lord. Tara Palmer Tomkinson has arrived and she looks like a very thin macaroon. With whipped cream on top."

Another classic line from the guardian

sorrel · 09/04/2005 16:57

now that is accurate. it was an amazing outfit, but she just can't walk properly. Zara looked like she was a few cones short of an ice-cream parlour too

I liked Cam's second outfit but not on her. I don't think grey suits her, it drained her natural colouring, and it would have been better to have something more spring-like, lilac maybe.

JanH · 09/04/2005 17:13

it was "porcelain blue" according to the Predictable, suedonim.

jangly, Diana's mother was a bolter - Shand-Kydd was her second husband's name - Shand was Camilla's maiden name - despite the horns (), no relation at all.

sorrel · 09/04/2005 17:16

thought there couldn't be a connection else we'd have heard all about it- ad nauseum.

JanH · 09/04/2005 17:16

sorrel, the minute-by-minute from The Predictable for you.

Particularly liked:

secretregular · 09/04/2005 17:23

how come they didn't invite fergie but they did invite camilla's ex? seems a bit strange. do they hate fergie now because of all the toe sucking antics? is she seen as "a bit common" do you think?

has anyone else had the duchy dark chocolate ginger biscuits, they are delish.

Gwenick · 09/04/2005 17:25

I thought she looked lovely too - and so happy as well - not a 'great' royalist - but I hope they're happy together
