If so how much? If not do you feel comfortable not tipping - what's the norm please?

I do, 10-20% rounded up to a whole number. Both my last hairdressers have given me a discount on every cut worth more than my tip so although it might look generous it also saves me money

I usually tip £5 for a cut and blow and £10 if having a colour.

People tip hairdressers?

I had no idea this was a thing.

Mine all have piggy banks on the reception desk for tips with their names on - so I guess they're expecting them!

I tip about 10% - it's usually £40-50 depending on what I have done so I tip £4-5 to my hairdresser, plus £1 to the girl who shampoos my hair as I assume she's paid the most rubbish of all their wages.
