Colourful clothes for boys?? Where??

Momoftwo · 13/01/2009 13:25

I am trying to find colourful clothes for my boys (6 and nearly 3). My eldest looked in his drawer and said 'Everything I have is blue!', which is virtually true. I have found a few bits (great red trousers!) but I am looking for some orange trousers, in particular, but any line of colourful clothes for boys up to and including age 7.

Any ideas?

Zara, H&M now and then...do you have a Polarn O Pyret near you?

JumpingDizzy · 13/01/2009 13:26

I bought stuff from Jako ages ago they're really colourful. They're european but they did deliver to the UK. I like my boys in colourful stuff too. I usually have to make do with colourful tops though.

IdrisTheDragon · 13/01/2009 13:27

I find Sainburys has some colourful tops

JumpingDizzy · 13/01/2009 13:28

Great, great, great! The only thing is that now I will be on the computer for hours drooling over these lovely clothes!

I have found that the European clothes are more colourful, and yes, Nordic Kids is a bit pricey.

Any more? This is terrific!!

John Lewis have nice colourful tops in the younger age range (not sure about over 7's) - DS has lovely red and turquoise tops from there.

Ds likes leggings, and we have some fab bright blue/black and red/black leggings.

H&M had some fab orange trousers last year

HensMum · 13/01/2009 13:41

John Lewis. My dad bought DS some wonderful striped trousers for Xmas and I went in to see what else they have and they have lovely, lovely things. Not too pricey either.

Tesco's up to 6yrs clothes are usually colourful.

I shall probably get hounded out of MN for saying it but Boden do orange trousers. These for example

You might have more luck with brighter colours if you wait for the spring range to come out. DS2 had some orange trouses from Mothercare once.

H & M do colourful boys stuff.

Pumpkin Patch are normall good too but I just looked at their site and it is all blue this year!!

I understand where you are coming from. All I seem to find is blue, khaki and brown at the moment.

ThingOne · 13/01/2009 13:44

Don't buy in the winter! You can get some colourful clothes in quite few places in spring/summer/early autumn but for some reason winter means blue and dark brown. Every well dressed boy needs some orange trousers!

CuppaTeaJanice · 13/01/2009 13:47

Could you buy stuff in white/pale blue/beige etc and get a packet of orange dylon to make them more colourful?

nappyaddict · 13/01/2009 14:02

nappyaddict · 13/01/2009 14:02
