Red duffle coat for a two year old girl

I know its not really style or beauty but didn't know where else to post. My mum wants to get my DD a red duffle coat for christmas and I can't find one I like. The one in next looks like it wouldn't be warm enough. There is a gorgeous one in Zara but it is in the 0-2 years section and too small. There is one in Jojo Bebe but it has ot blue lining and I don't want that (I know, I'm fussy). Any others anyone has seen? Budget up to £30 ish.

TK Maxx had some lovely red coats for little girls last week, not sure whether they were dufels, though

Asda had this here

Red? Have you seen "Don't Look Now?"

SazzlesIsASleighBell · 09/12/2008 08:02

this one?

PerkinWarbeck · 09/12/2008 08:11

ooh - DD tried on the one sazzles linked to and it is sooo nice in real life (although we ended up with something different as they didn't have DD's size ).

used2bthin · 09/12/2008 14:02

Thanks all, saw one from Asda the other day but can't find it on thier site. It had a big hood, toggles and polka dot lining. Will try TK maxx. Thought the Next one probably wouldn't be warm enough but it does look cute.

Ooh I saw one in brown and one that looked yellowy? So gorgeous but too expensive sadly. That is exactly the kind of style though how sweet!

It's not a duffel coat but my DD has this, it's lovely.

At last a link that works.

The pic doesn't do them justice the red is gorgeous in rl. My mum always bought me a Gloverall every year.

C & A used to do great copies.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 09/12/2008 14:29

£80 on a coat for a toddler?

pucca · 09/12/2008 14:30

Do you want me to take a pic of the one from matalan? Tis very gorgeous, but cannot find a pic.

DeckHallsWithFIMBOughsofHolly · 09/12/2008 14:31

One can dream TDWP

used2bthin · 09/12/2008 14:55

Ooh yes pleases pucca, Fimbo I LOVE that but yes sadly too expensive. So lovely though and my mum would think it was perfect.

I know - if money was no object I would have one for my ds and dd. Both would be horrified though.

used2bthin · 09/12/2008 14:59

Thanks TDWP and Bonkerz too, want something quite padded I think though as her puffa coat is too small already. I bought it from Zara in September, it was huge on her so thought it would be fine all winter and guess what? Too small by November! She is still wearing it but its more of a short jacket now.
