is fucking awful! I was in there yesterday - who on earth would put a black denim puffball skirt on their baby?

Anyone else seen it?

she makes me want to stab her in the eye with a rusty spoon

pgwithnumber3 · 27/09/2008 21:56

Yes! I nearly vommed in the aisle!!! Chav central! I could not believe Mothercare even stocked it!

Mylene -if you are a s'leb mnetter in disguise - this is up there with being a member of Hearsay....disaster!

pgwithnumber3 · 27/09/2008 21:57

PMSL custardo - I quite like her chirpyness.

I saw her talking about it on GMTV and she said "every little girl needs a little black dress" I assumed she was joking! Right am off to see if she in fact was serious.

georgimama · 27/09/2008 22:00

A leather jacket for a little boy? Dear God.

I probably get ridiculed for DS's clothes, but today he wore a pair of brown cords, a white and brown check shirt and a tank top my mum knitted, and he looked beautiful.

TheCrackFox · 27/09/2008 22:01

All the baby boy clothes are black, WTF? Hmm, the leatherette baby jacket sure looks comfy

pgwithnumber3 · 27/09/2008 22:01

used2bthin, she was more than serious, she wants you to put a black leather jacket on top of the fucking awful little black dress. On a newborn baby. It could then be pushed around in that leather Maclaren buggy that was on a thread the other day.

pgwithnumber3 · 27/09/2008 22:02

Can you imagine trying to get the poor baby's stiff arms through the pleather sleeves?

OP posts:
electra · 27/09/2008 22:03

I think her baby stuff is rather nice...

used2bthin · 27/09/2008 22:04

Oh my goodness yes she was pgwithnimber3! I'm shocked! And it is all so pricey too. I wonder if it sells well?

pgwithnumber3 · 27/09/2008 22:05

step away from the site electra!

OMG, a black velour tracksuit and cashmere dress - for a baby?!!
I like Myleene but this is just awful.

Some of the babygros are OK.
But since when does a baby/toddler girl need an LBD?!

chapstickchick · 27/09/2008 22:17

i like the red party dress but as a mum of 3 boys dont need one lol.......i really dislike her for reasons i cant explain - do u remember the adverts for the mothers day cd she was in?
i willingly could have slammed the piano lid on her fingers!!!

apprently she has travelled the globe sourcing for her mothercare collection with baby Ava travelling alongside ...............................bah

jellybeans · 27/09/2008 22:20

EW yukky, saw her on 'working lunch' and she said all women have a LBD little black dress so babies need one too! ew babies should be dressed like babies ffs!!

pgwithnumber3 · 27/09/2008 22:25

I bet we never see Ava in Mummy's collection.

OP posts:
Tommy · 27/09/2008 22:25

oh dear....

I quite like her as a presenter but I am a little baffled as to why these "sleb moms" think they have any higher knowledge than the rest of us - e.g. Jamie Oliver's wife writing a parenting book etc.

Does being famous make you a better parent?

Lizzzombie · 27/09/2008 22:30

Have to add something to this thread.
I work in Mothercare.
The girls that I work with and myself all think they are nasty overpriced clothes in this range.
You're going to love this nugget though...

The hangers which the 'collection' is displayed on are for sale. At £2, you too could have a white wooden Baby Klass hanger! What a steal! Needless to say, we have sold none, and when customers are told that they have to pay £2 for the hanger they also guffaw in our faces! Do you think the £2 might be tied into her celeb endorsement fee? Crazy!

bookswapper · 27/09/2008 22:32

she can even make a sling look chavvy

twinsetandpearls · 27/09/2008 22:32

this is cute
