suitable for autumn and very flattering then this is your baby.

Like any of you even care anymore, because I'm like SO last season with this top now, but mine arrived today (what's with the tardy delivery M&S?). I actually really like it, am wearing it now, but I feel like shit because I must be totally deluded about my dress size because I got a size 12 and if I had indeed gone any smaller it would have been unbearable because of my ridiculous undulating jelly belly.

Ladies, how do I make it less like jelly? My DD (3) is always squishing it and asking me why my tummy is so wavy. I resist the temptation to tell her it's all her and her bro's fault, because, you know, I did eat some fruit crumble and some pies too. I'm cross as have valiantly lost nearly 4 stone since chucking DS unceremoniously out fo the womb, but I still CAN'T WEAR WHAT I WANT GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Szyslak · 30/09/2008 11:02

Mine should arrive today. I am a bit worried now I ordered a 10 after reading on here about the waist, but I also have jelly belly issues so it really may not look great.

Hate to tell you Sycamore but mine are noe 8yrs and 5yrs, I am the same weight as before I had them, and yet my stomach still lies on the bed next to me.

LaTrucha · 30/09/2008 12:00

I too used to be lithe. My doctor has assured me that it will all fall off when I stop breastfeeding. My osteopath has assured me that if I continue to breastfeed, it will all drop off.

I get a bit shocked sometimes when out powerwalking [hhpmthgrr] and catch sight of myself in windows. My tits and my arse look like they're going in different directions. DH tells me it's because my body is calling him to make more babes.

Lol you two! It's hard coming to terms with a stomach that has a life of its own. Also, with boobs that are so sorry for themselves, they actually look downcast.

I was telling a girlfriend the other day how when I was in my early twenties, I once got my kit off for the first time with a boy whose eyes popped out of their head and he said "Where did you get THOSE from?". I really loved my boobs. Now, I can just imagine he would go on to say "...because you really need to take them back and get a refund"

NotCod · 30/09/2008 13:16

no way will it drop off
i speak as a mum of kids 10 8 and almost 6

haev the 12 in my hand
am going to try later

LaTrucha · 30/09/2008 14:11

Sssshhh Cod. It's going to melt away like ice water.

I got mine today, size 12, good fit even if it could do with being slightly longer. Good enough though! Thanks LT for the tip (I also got the grey one but thats going back, is ugly

LaTrucha · 30/09/2008 17:38

I was going to get the grey one bu tthe material doesn't seem right for grey. I think it would look cheap.

Swedes · 01/10/2008 13:37

I got mine yesterday. I'm taking mine back: I hate the neck, I hate the fabric, it's far too short.

LaTrucha · 01/10/2008 13:43

Didn't even notice the neck TBH. Agree fabric potentially dodgy but fine in black IMO it hangs nice.

Fits nicely at waist on me. Don't like long things as am curvy.

Sycamoretree · 01/10/2008 14:00

Well, I got lots of lovely comments. I'm chuffed with it

Swedes · 01/10/2008 14:39

LaTrucha - Don't mean to sound ungrateful - it was so nearly brilliant!

LaTrucha · 01/10/2008 14:40

I got mine today. I really like it. I'm glad I got the 10 though it is quite big on the waist ( and I am no skinny minny beleive me).

I'm really pleased with it. My Mum liked it so much on me she has ordered herself one.

Does anyone have the gray?

LaTrucha · 01/10/2008 18:30

Someone got it but thought it was nasty and sent it back.
