Actually 12 is just right for me.

Last week in M & S I bought a brilliant long cotton cardi thing in black (I have since bought a grey one too) with collar and three big buttons - single breasted (and big button tab detail on the waist). Brilliantly useful for throwing over a t-shirt and jeans (with a good necklace). I looked for it online to tell Mumsnet but can't find it online at all.
