I really love this sweater but can in no way justify the cost - PLEASE come and be rude about it and put me off!

Here it is

I keep drooling over it - not sure why I like it so much, I just do - even DH said "coo, she's - er, I mean that's nice"

But ONE HUNDRED AND TEN SMACKERS!

Its lovely. The colour will go with everything. You will wear it 3 times a week for the whole winter (which is ohhhh so long).

Order it, if you still love it keep it.

Often these dreamy things are a dissapointme nt when they arrive. Had a few things from WC that haven't liked when they arrive.

SorenLorensen · 11/09/2008 20:51

Don't like those two either. First one way too short, second one just...frumpsville.

Sorry

southeastastra · 11/09/2008 20:51

what colour is rich noisette

beansmum · 11/09/2008 20:52

I genuinely hate both of those. Ugly and heavy looking.

SorenLorensen · 11/09/2008 20:53

Brown, I guess, sea.

I do like that nightie. Only I wouldn't look like that in it, I'd look like a sack of spuds.

Oliveoil · 11/09/2008 20:53

number 2 fine

others are horrid

is it a swingy type cardigan you want? Get yourself down to H&M, TONS of fab knitwear there atm, lots of colours and shapes etc

I have my beady eye on a long grey cardigan

nowirehangers · 11/09/2008 20:54

I don't like any of them, they won't keep you warm and white knitwear!! Obviously you don't live in a sticky-handed environment like me. It would be filthy in seconds and a nightmare to wash
White Co do good sales anyway so if you're still obsessing you'll pick it up cheap after Xmas

Oliveoil · 11/09/2008 20:58

also, 3/4 length sleeves are fine in spring or the 'summer' we have just enjoyed [cats arse face], but in winter they would be a pita and you would be cold

and re price, that is fine, dh secretly got me a Diesel jumper I had mentioned in passing that I liked (bless him) and iirc it was £125

has been worn to death

so cost per wear is worth it

Jewelsandgems · 11/09/2008 20:58

All awful. Sorry!

EffiePerine · 11/09/2008 20:58

if you're after knitwear this is nice

I hate all of you except Flum

OK, OK, I get the point

I wonder if there is an H&M in Swindon?!

pococonejo · 11/09/2008 22:08

Ugh Effie, that is horrible!

DomesticBlobess · 11/09/2008 22:20

Bought v similar to the original one mentioned in Primark last week for £8 - same colour, same two button neck, short sleeves.

Now will probably only wear in house as realise is more than tad frumpy, but hey for 8 quid not a problem, please don't spend £110.

pococonejo · 11/09/2008 22:57

TITS and I was in there today as well

OP posts:
florenceuk · 11/09/2008 23:53

I like this for the same price: Whistles jacket and this but its not so warm gilet. I like all those A-line swingy cardies (in fact Boden is sure to have one as well) but I'm not sure I like the White Company one so much because it gapes. BTW hennes/zara/primark highly unlikely to contain wool and cashmere so not as warm as your first choice.

pococonejo · 12/09/2008 00:04

See, I think those are a bit frumpy (but thanks anyway ). I like the gaping aspect of my one.

I'm littlelapin BTW - I thought I had just gone spanish, but have just been informed that "conejo" is also slang for, erm, fanjo...

Better than grandeconejo though!

OP posts:
Libra1975 · 12/09/2008 09:31

All 3 are frumpish and unless you are really slim and tall will make you look squat and square.

CostaRicanCod · 12/09/2008 09:34

its ok

i ahev a similar one grey
doesnt suit me tbh
sleeves ARE annoying

harpsichordcarrier · 12/09/2008 09:40

those sleeves would annoy me.
also, can your lifestyle really allow an IVORY CASHMERE cardi??

lovecat · 12/09/2008 09:41

Sorry but they are foul.

I tried this on in M&S the other day and was pleasantly surprised by how nice it looked on(had just bought winter jacket so could not justify another purchase, but still!) - only comes in black, tho'.
