Will have to scroll through lovely pics of ds etc to get to it tho. Runs and hides under bed, never to venture on to mumsnet again.

Oh and I hate my chins, my round face, my massive bloody jelly belly, that horrible fat bit at the top of my thighs, and my big manly legs. In fact my big, manly bloody body (apart from huge bloody norks)!!!!!

sexbomb your hair is really really good btw.

queeny if you have got thin legs and smallish hips then wider trousers won't help, just add to the whole width. unless of course they are a wonderful cut for you, you have seen them!

omg I am a totally different shape (pear) but I so want to be maryannsingleton's pal too - her style is amazing - can we set up a fan club and get tips???

and sexbombbiker... you rock too. Fab legs. Chest I would kill for. Probably quite cheerfully. Brill face, hair, skin. Go to bravissimo or rigby peller and get fitted for a bra. I dream of such a need.

sexbombbiker, you are brave! You have a pretty face, nice hair, good boobs and great legs! From your pic your legs look like a real asset, show them off
your ds is cute too

It was, lollipop this is my thread where lovely MNers suggested lots of fab tummy hiding clothes!

sexbombbikerchick - buttercup has seen your thread and pics (hope you don't mind my passing the thread on to her) and she says the following, which might be of interest !

She?s a true apple whereas I?m the unholy lovechild of an apple and an hourglass - but I have a shorter torso than she does, so my waist disappears when I sit down. It is the most difficult shape to dress and the worst one to have from a self-esteem point of view as a larger person because it?s rarely acknowledged by plus size manufacturers. I met a plus-size boutique owner in Brooklyn who was specifically going out to educate her suppliers to take us into consideration along with the pears and hourglasses. I think sexbomb girly?s been given sound advice by most of the mumsnetters apart from the Trinny and Susannah?s ?no waist? advice because there?s a difference between being straight up and down and being an apple. T & S have written the biggest load of cobblers I?ve ever read about apples in their book and really don?t have a clue how to dress them. I?d advise sexbomb girly to wear empire lines but make sure they start well under her norks or she?ll look pregnant. Monsoon, (and she looks small enough to get into their clothes if I can), do a lot of dresses with wide empire line waistbands that can help fake an hourglass figure. Evans do them too but they tend to be small in the bust and too long in the waist for me. Sexbomb girly might fair better.

You could also recommend her to the fatshionista community:-

(I think she?ll be quite bemused but there are quite a few UK members now and people?s photos can be very inspiring).

You could also rec the fatshionista flickr group thread for inspiration:-

So, my figleaves parcel arrived today with new bras (up to cup sizes to 42f!!!) and a flexee waist squeezer thingy. All rather good; will post a 'post' structural underwear 'dressed' pic as soon as I get the chance, and thanks everybody for all your comments.

I can't beleive I actually did it am still having to screw up my eyes and squint at picture as it is so vile - but am seriously considering printing it out and sticking it on my wine rack - as that's the only thing really that keeps me the weight I am; I eat really healthily and exercise loads, it's the wine, and the accompanying snacking post ds bedtime that does it (plus late meal).
