what should I wear?

Occasion: hen's night
Location: bar crawl around north London
Other people: don't know 'em very well, all good friends of the bride to be, old school friends etc but they are basically all well-to-do North London Jewish girls, from what I can gather. Certainly not as grotty as the term 'bar crawl' would suggest....

any suggestions?

Nice jeans, sparkley top, high heeled sandals, lots of make-up.

Okay - sorry about the makeup thing (feel like I have had my wrists slapped) but I just don't wear it. Not even on my wedding day. Smidge of eyeliner is about as far as I go.

My legs can do shorts; I, however, can not.

Yes, I did just buy a pile of dresses but feel that they are all a bit too dressy/ glam for this.

Soooo ... based on your (much appreciated and very worthy) suggestions, what do you think of skinny jeans with this top and these shoes

me = 2 under 2, full time freelance career = busy

netaporter = lovely stuff all under the one virtual roof, never-ending sale, easy to shop/ find sizes etc, no trips into town, try on at home, free returns = why shop anywhere else?

stop bullying the poor girl about make up too people. She obviously has fabulous skin as well as legs and doesn't need it. It is summer too, do you all still put loads of slap on in the summer?
