ugh, just thought of pale grey shoes

TheFallenMadonna · 14/07/2008 16:40

Trousers which are too short.

DH would do this if I would let him. I have to be very firm

Sim43 · 14/07/2008 16:50

Yuk yes Im with you on the pale grey shoes, especially plastic ones. Also white socks and shoes. Dark shirt and white ties (shudder). Moccasin shoes, I very nearly dumped a boyfriend years ago because he wore them and i could not take my eyes off them, they were hideous and I was so embarrassed.

Sim43 · 14/07/2008 16:52

Men with earings! especially middle aged men with earings and shirt and tie! WTF? Middle aged men with long hair and earings! Actually long hair on any aged man with earings. Yuk Yuk Yuk.

waffletrees · 14/07/2008 17:08

Men who arrange their hair in a "funky" way to try and hide the fact they are going bald. FFS get it cut really short - they are fooing no one.

Any sports wear on anybody in unacceptable unless you are actually playing sport.

He was in the army cadets as a youngster and gets a lot of joy from polishing shoes so that you can see your face in them! Mine are lucky if they get a bit of Pledge on them every 6 months or so!

Sim43 · 14/07/2008 17:40

Well fortunately they don't see the light of day very often! As far as the soles go, he would only go and get them re-soled. When my soles wear out, it's shopping time!

blowsy · 14/07/2008 17:45

Polo shirts with the collar turned up - utterley wanky.

Jeans with a shirt, tie and suit jacket - heinous.

Men over 30 wearing those beaded thong type necklaces or bracelets - tossers.

Crocs. Crocs. Crocs.

Heifer · 14/07/2008 17:51

vest tops = yuck

Socks and sandals.
Man bags.
Cycle clips.
Plaid trousers.
Ultra high-waisted trousers, accentuated by a belt.
Shirts with epaulettes.

Have just realised DP commits 3 of the above crimes on a regular basis.

Heifer · 14/07/2008 20:17

too short trousers
shorts with shoes and socks

TheSmallClanger · 14/07/2008 21:14

Loafers, especially when worn with jeans.
Tracksuit bottoms when not playing sport, especially the "jogger" variety made of sweatshirt material.
Navy blue blazers with gold buttons, unless you're the president of the yacht club.
Anything golf-related.
