For me it's Monsoon, Next and Per Una (not a shop I know but I hate the range)

Per Una, H&M, BHS (grim), Top Shop, Debenhams.

Dorothy Perkins - everything looks really cheap.

M&S - dull.

River Island - tacky.

TK MAXX - I have this impulse to tidy it up and make it look more neater - i.e put all the blue jumpers together etc, then put the shoes in order of lowest heels to highest heels organised by size, then to organise the bags by colour then by size....etc....that shop always looks so messy to me..

I can't cope with TK MAX it is like a jumble sale.
I find the same with our local H&M

CountessDracula · 15/07/2008 16:46

I hate Next
Don't like Coast
I find H&M like a jumble sale but I do like some of their stuff

I like
Monsoon occasionally but too much flouncy tat
Ted Baker
White Stuff is my fave they always have something I like

Figfingers · 15/07/2008 16:51

So many shops so little time

Next (land of bland)
M&S ( I used to think it was a PLUS size store... me not being from the UK and all that )
Warehouse (not sure why, really just dull)
Mango (teeeny size zero)
New Look (vom!)
Monsoon (too big sizes and too glittery)
TK MAxx (utter shite for clothes good for sky gear)
River Island (yuk and yuk)

My absolute faves:
ZARA
Topshop
French Connection
Gap ( for basics only)

Bon Marche (what is that all about?)

Debenhams - apart from bras, can't be doing with raking through different departments.

Any cheap shop - Peacocks, Pilot, Bay Trading, MK1 etc.

Figfingers · 15/07/2008 17:19

Bon Marche..euwwww my ex MIl loved it, bless her.

Twinkie1 · 15/07/2008 17:24

Per Una and I really really hate Jane Norman, Morgan and Vestry - they are for skinny hookers IMO!!

(I was a skinny hooker at about 17 but haven;t bought any of their clothes since as am now fat housewife!)

And really really hate Primark - everything looks ok from about 200 yards away but when you get close you realise it is bloody falling to pieces and badly made!

Ewe · 15/07/2008 17:25

Whistles, it's just too middle class, home counties etc.

cardy · 15/07/2008 17:27

Lots that are already mentioned plus River Island - everything looks a bit tacky.

cardy · 15/07/2008 17:28

Like - Topshop, French Connections, Zara and some H&M stuff
