DP work do, so casual but no reason to not look fab anyway.

I was thinking of this skirt I have (pic on profile), it's pink with a few white flowers. I have worn it with a white top before, but might need something new (any thoughts?)

ALso (and mainly) SHOES.

I usually wear it with flat white sandals but I'd rather heels or wedges maybe? Any thoughts my lovelies?

Or possibly a completely new outfit but cheap and that I can wear lots over the summer.

Pretty wide remit there then

tia

Hmmmm. Yes to wedges. Not sure about a white top...might look a little officey? Can you not wear jeans and a fab top? Or is it too posh for that?

sweetheart · 06/07/2008 19:05

nautical is very in and can be done casual - what about some white linen trousers with a blue or red stripe top?

S1ur · 06/07/2008 19:06

nah tisn't posh really, am lacking on fab top for jeans front though.

btw white top I usually wear is more tshirty than officey iyswim

TBH I would start from scratch. The skirt is nice enough but a little (whisper) dull (sorry!)

I think a nice top to go with jeans...or if you want to go dressier...a dress, and a little cardi. There are masses around.

brimfull · 06/07/2008 19:17

weather may be crap so something you can sling a cardi over would be good

S1ur · 06/07/2008 19:19

What lenght do you think Cod, am only 5 2 but that looks short enough to be good.

cheap belts in matalan

lilolilmanchester · 06/07/2008 19:29

if BBQ, personally I wouldn't wear anything white (I just need to look at something white and it gets filthy). Am no good with style stuff, but i really like the skirt you have on your profile (but perhaps too light for BBQ stains) and love the one cod posted (which probably would be more forgiving on the old grease/BBQ sauce stains). Beyond that, am watching with interest cos I am crap at knowing what to wear.
