Best tubing mascara please

I'm currently using a waterproof mascara (as I am prone to smudging), which is fine, but a ballsache to remove. Can anyone recommend a good tubing mascara?

Owing to very sore eyes at the moment , I am currently using my Elf as eye liner, dabbing a tiny angled brush onto the mascara wand to load it, then applying bit by bit to my lash line. It lasts wonderfully, but washes off with water.

A professional mermaid is EXACTLY who I want to get my mascara advice from. I’m going to pick up some of the elf at the first available opportunity!
