I agree @user593 - also the products are for dry hair, so no good for me. It would have been much more sensible to put products in that everyone could use. (Or the Genesis range - I would have been all over that!)

I feel like some of the Boots edits this year have suffered a bit from shrinkflation compared to last year.

Completely agree, esp as one if for curly hair so not useful at all for quite a lot of people (and possibly very useful for some!).

It's not like getting vanilla or cherry flavour lip balm, or even a shine spray vs a heat protect spray.

Oh lord. I appear to have bought a 4th…and the Discotheque discovery set. And the Chantecaille lipstick. And I bought a load of stuff yesterday. But haven’t yet purchased the You Beauty advent and I think overall this is a better spend of the same money. So girl math= kinda free.

I wasn’t planning on buying the Overnight Renewal Edit but I had £5 credit about to expire so got it for £31 😑

I’m torn over the aventurine lipstick. I’ve tried it on and don’t know if it is a little bright and light for me. It’s gorgeous although I do wish the outer sparkles permeated the whole way through. I see chantecaille do returns if lightly tried for store credit.

Do the sparkles not run through the whole lipstick? I assumed they did. I usually go dark cherry colours, thought it would make a nice change to go a bit brighter for parties. Might need to check it out in real life next week then before opening. Even with 25% discount that isn’t a cheap lipstick!

I love the lipstick, I wore it to go shopping the other day 🤣

@Fillybuster the outer sparkles are much more prominent. I do appreciate sparkle levels are a specialist problem to have 🤣. Possibly I need to get out more. @JoRaRaRa i love that you elevated your shopping trip! Despite swearing off red lipstick I almost wonder if the LE ruby mimetic might have been better for me as dark and very cool red.
