You have to go with the one you prefer! I'm not a fan of either because I don't like "classic" style engagement rings, but what matters is you love it and feel happy with it.
Congratulations! 🍾

Like others say the right one looks best alone but the left would probably be the better option if stacked with a plain wedding band.

Lastqueenofscotland2 · 18/10/2026 20:24

I prefer the round cut, everyone and their dog got an oval in 2023-2024

Griselinia · 18/10/2026 17:57

Um they're both the same except one is bigger and squarer.

So not the same then 🤔

I prefer the one on the right.

TofuTuesday · 18/10/2026 20:25

Left. Is one real and one lab? Why the question and difference in size?

Which do you like best?

I like the one on right more. Both are beautiful.

HappyViewer · 18/10/2026 20:40

Right.

ParsonMaybold · 18/10/2026 20:46

Left one looks parsimonious and right one is naff. So neither.

Can barely see the one on the left honestly. The right if any.

This, the left one is too small IMO

fuschiaproudparrot · 18/10/2026 20:53

The right because it's bigger but is it real ?

BakedBeeeen · 18/10/2026 20:57

You need to try it on with a wedding ring. Remember you will not be wearing an engagement ring on its own for the rest of your life!

CherryKerry · 18/10/2026 20:59

The smaller one will look better when stacked with a wedding ring and eternity rings/s

Just want to mention you have lovely long fingers and long nail beds so you could look at a ring with a thicker gold band.

JazzyJelly · 18/10/2026 21:00

They're both gorgeous.

NewGrandmummy · 18/10/2026 21:04

The square one because it's more unusual.

Blingismything · 18/10/2026 21:13

The oval as it’s a larger stone, very popular choice at the moment.

Edited

It’s not a fait accompli to have an eternity ring.

I like the one on the left but I'm outvoted

Same here but I don't wear to rings so what do I know.

FroggyThroat · 18/10/2026 21:29

The bigger diamond, of course.

You will be wearing it everyday for hopefully a long time to come so make sure you’ve gone the top end of your budget.

You have good hands and long fingers. I think you can carry off a bigger diamond 😉

It’s not a fait accompli to have an eternity ring.

Do you mean it's not a foregone conclusion? A fait accompli refers to something already accomplished, which doesn't really make sense in the context of receiving or not receiving an eternity ring at some point in the future.

BreatheAndFocus · 18/10/2026 21:31

The one on the right. The other looks too small for your hand so looks a bit weird.

bababamama · 18/10/2026 21:35

I prefer the left one, right is too flashy for my tastes

Anonmousse · 18/10/2026 21:48

I thought the first was round and the bigger one was oval?

The first one is a round brilliant. The second one I think is a radiant cut (oblong) - it's hard to tell with the picture resolution but I think the claw setting in the centre of the crown is making it look oval from a distance.

SnakesandKnives · 18/10/2026 21:59

The second one is definitely an oval but there's something odd going on with either the photo or the setting as there should be a claw at the bottom - that's a 4 claw setting so dunno what that blob at the bottom is!

notagainnnnn · 18/10/2026 22:00

The oval is so pretty!!
