I think Dame Barbara Cartland might have done. 🤔

DinoLil · Yesterday 19:46

Me.

I’m a slattern but I wear makeup everyday. I have a very blotchy complexion (possible mild rosacea) and I feel hideous without a bit of light foundation on. I also pop a bit of mascara on and slick of tinted lip balm and I’m good, takes all of 30 seconds. Oh and I brush my eyebrows with a tinted gel because they are a bit mad without it. I hardly ever bother with eye liner etc though. I actually enjoy taking it off at the end of the day, I use Elemis cleansing balm which makes my skin feel very soft, and would want to wash my face before I go to bed anyway so it doesn’t take any more time.

Very jealous of my friends with lovely, clear complexions who don’t need to wear makeup.

Eye liner (green) and mascara everyday. I wear glasses and look eyeless otherwise, and moisturiser, but that is since I was a small child. My skin Is not weather proof.

Yes everyday and I hate that I feel like I need to! Doesn’t take long 10 mins max in the morning

PinkPerpetue · Yesterday 20:35

I do. I have little piggy eyes without it

ImthatBoleyngirl · Yesterday 20:38

I do. I don't think I'm attractive enough to go out barefaced.

BiddyPopthe2nd · Yesterday 20:39

Monday to Friday, and any weekend day that I need to. I have it down to 90 seconds most workdays…but it takes a bit longer for going out. Work is foundation, blush, 2 eyeshadows blended and lipstick. Powder on days I need it.

HansHolbein · Yesterday 20:42

Once a week when I am public facing or if I am going out for the day. Otherwise, no. I always wear lipstick though.

Yes, I do. Always have. I have a very quick routine but I like wearing it and looking less like a corpse than my natural pallor.

Edited

Same. I used to go out occasionally without makeup but I am very pale and now that I am older I look better with a bit of added colour. I love playing around with makeup anyway, so it’s not a hassle, I like using it.

Wildgoat · Yesterday 21:10

Me, I like the way I look with it on, all sort of glowy and me but no imperfections.

330ml · Yesterday 21:13

No, virtually never.

Shloopie · Yesterday 21:14

Yes, it's a rare day I don't wear makeup.

ChicGreyZebra · Yesterday 21:16

Never. I dye my eyelashes and wear fake tan though so I don’t look like a total zombie.

HappyViewer · Yesterday 21:16

I wear foundation as a concealer on some red areas on my face, blusher and brown eyeliner. I tint my lashes and wear mascara and eyeshadow if I’m going out out or meeting a friend for lunch etc.

Musicaltheatremum · Yesterday 21:53

I never wear it. Well I did put some lipstick on on the last Saturday in September. First time in months and months. I'm 63 and blessed with a great skin and complection
My daughter wears it all the time as she has awful acne despite roaccutane at 15 and 31 and she wears it to cover it up.

Darck · Yesterday 21:58

I wear a bit of concealer around my eyes, eyeshadow stick and mascara. I brush my eyebrows. It takes about 2 minutes. I do it virtually every day but only through habit. I actually forgot to take my make up bag on holiday twice and it didn't bother me.

I focus on skincare, tbh. The better my skin is, the less it needs stuff on it!

sidehustlingtoxmas · Yesterday 22:40

I'd love to be someone that could have makeup free days and feel comfortable with that, but unfortunately I am ugly and it makes me feel a bit less so. 😁

Catnaaaaap · Yesterday 22:44

Yes, super quick though! Every day moisturiser, foundation, blusher, eyebrow gel, mascara and then a setting powder.
I switched to liquid foundation and blusher this year and it's much better then my old pressed powders now I'm in my 40's

I used to but these days I wear it about twice a year. I just can’t be bothered.

Do you go to work without makeup?

Cupofteaafterwards · Yesterday 22:47

sesquipedalian · Yesterday 18:52

My DSis wears it every day. She once characterised my friends and me as “strangers to the make-up counter.” I only wear make-up if I’m going to a wedding or similar.

Do you go to work five days a week without makeup?

Hotdoughnut · Yesterday 22:49

Every single day, even in labour! I have crap skin sadly. I've wanted to see a dermatologist for years but the very thought of not wearing makeup to the appointment means I don't sort it. It makes me really sad.

Autumnalhibernationisthedream · Yesterday 22:51

I do! SPF and eye cream, wait a few seconds, primer, wait a few seconds, foundation and concealer (just applied with fingers!) followed up with my mini mac spray fx. No eyeshadow or mascara unless is a special occasion as they’d run and I work in retail. Takes five minutes because I’ve been doing it so long. I wear it because I have roseacea and sensitive skin and am lucky enough to have found the products that feel like they soothe and cool my skin (Roc posay spf, max factor primer and rimmel foundation and concealer)

IDontHateRainbows · Yesterday 22:51

I do, primer, powder, brow pencil, liquid eyeshadow blush and lippy.
