Has anyone switched to autumn clothes and started wearing jumpers yet

Who’s transitioned to autumn wear? Is it safe to get out all the jumpers / knit wear / boots / tights / cosy socks etc??

I’ve not been paying attention when out and about so need inspiration 😂

No, it’s really still quite warm where I am. I am in layers at the moment but couldn’t face a knitted jumper

I've dragged all mine out of storage, had a cull for the charity shop and then it got hot again. Currently wearing medium weight long sleeved tops and no jacket when i go out as the sun is warm

I try and wear my summer clothes as long as possible as I get sick of the Winter clothes after a while and it’s a longer season

Nope. Hanging off wearing the same drab clothes for 6 months or so for as long as possible. Winter wear is so dull.
Im wearing the summer clothes I didnt wear in the summer because it was too hot. So long maxi dresses and wide leg lightweight trouses/cropped trousers and t shirtnor short sleeve blouse.

Am down south. Its still warm.

Yes, I have been back in thermals for a couple of weeks (usually with a thin jumper). Up North, under-active thyroid, wear thermals probably 8 months of the year.

Still in my shorts. Can't wait for a cold snap and a jumper or two!

I keep looking longingly at mine but it’s too hot in London so far for any of my autumn clothes :(!

I just saw a woman wearing a spagetti strap sundress walking past a woman in a wooly winter coat and boots in London! Everybody is confused.
I was somewhere in between.

It's too warm for long sleeves let alone jumpers. I'm loving it. I hate itchy, stifling, unflattering autumn and winter clothes and socks can just do one, so much comfier without and no hassle of washing and pairing them.

No , still wearing shorts to walk dog and around the house. Put proper clothes on to go into the office:)

Seems like summer wear is still in full force 🤭 I think I’ll keep some cooler clothes out for the nicer days but have the autumn clothes at the ready for when it starts getting chilly. It’s a bit nippy during the morning drop off and I don’t know what’s happening in the supermarkets but they are absolutely freezing of late.. it could just be me though as any bit of cold and my raynauds kicks in.

Hi op. Do despite commenting above that I am still in summer wear etc, I noticed last night that I've got a chilblain already 😭 also a raynauds suffererer.

I've bizarrely realised that socks make me worse. So I go with bare feet for as long as I can, I'm so cross about this one, it'll be from walking the dogs in the morning. Grrrr! Hate chilblains esp when it's like a heatwave during the day!

Yes, I'm wearing midi or maxi fine knit stretch pencil dresses most days. Warm but can scrunch sleeves up when the sun is out. Comfy enough to feel like I'm wearing a nightie all day but smart and warm

So warm here - south coast so still in summer dresses for work and wore shorts n t shirts all weekend !

The mercury dropped here in SW London here yesterday and today. Shock! I needed a cardigan and coat and was wondering about my hat and gloves too!

We are in away in Norfolk and I am glad I brought my Seasalt Janelle and gloves with me, it's quite a chilly wind

Temperatures have dropped here in the SE, 9º this morning but still only need a thin jacket or coat, my Seasalt Janelle is definitely not needed yet, but that only comes out for the depths of winter as I run hot. Forecast 20 here again next week so the summer dresses are staying out for work (they are short sleeved not strappy types).

I was in London yesterday and was just right in a t-shirt, jeans and a cotton trench. Beautiful autumn weather!

Sorted my Mother outlast week. But she is 101 and feels the cold. Still summer for me but wearing a cardigan that can come easily on and off.Will sort out mine in the next couple of weeks.

It's freezing in Exeter today. I have on jeans,merino wool base layer, cashmere jumper and wool coat and socks and bowling style shoes. All summer clothes now boxed in the loft. Next job is to sort out the kids. They wear shorts for months!!

Yes. The heating has come on 2 mornings this week though it's warm by lunchtime..

Then I went to a Marks and Spencer’s Food Hall - nothing helps with that !

I’m in cotton sweatshirts and cardis but not wool yet
