ive just got a notification that my BT calendar is being delivered today to my sisters house (woohoo) …fingers crossed for those using the postal forward service …
that’s my third advent this year (HBAC, HFAC , and now BT) …. I have been very restrained this year …am hoping for the selfridges FAC next week but if i miss out on that …i may wait for Black friday deals ….my sister has now 9 advents (10 but she claims the 10th is a present ) …🤪

Hi, I'm a long time semi lurker, lover of BAC and FAC (and beauty boxes and edits!). I've bought JL (had vouchers, a bit meh), Liberty (beauty drop, saving for Dec), and managed to bag the HFAC. Had a bit of a tricky year so have also treated myself to Vogue. Why am I now thinking about Elle?!?! Surely I should be done? Does anyone know if Elle might be discounted - clearly I could justify it if so 🫣

I really like the Elle calendar this year. I am not sure if it will be further discounted as I imagine it might sell out. I think you can still order it with a £10 discount

They had to discount it last year to get rid of it so maybe they decided it wasn’t worth doing?

It's a shame they don't think to just do less 🤔🤭 I'm glad CB are doing a fragrance edit again this year, I thought they might not as they were practically giving away the fragrance stocking last year 🤣

Re the M and S BAC, does anyone know if you can use your Sparks rewards as part payment ?

I don't see why not - AFAIK, M+S treats reward £ as if it is an M+S gift card ie as a money equivalent.

The GlossyBox BAC in my TikTok basket (from their official TT shop) is now showing as sold out.
Still available on their own website though.

I love the Missoma one too, esp the solid gold one, and the box is gorgeous but only 6 pieces. The Astley Clarke one is nice too. Wonder if Liberty will do a jewellery advent this year, I had the reduced one in my basket for months but couldn’t justify even the reduced cost!!

I’ve just received my BT advent and honestly I have to say the quality, weight and size is amazing. I’ve went through each drawer and not looked too closely to make sure everything is there, but I feel everyday is really going to feel like a treat. I am in love with it and can’t wait to December and the opening thread xxx

I would tell them. Bad karma not to, and chances are they won't ask you to return it anyway. (It's Latest in Beauty btw!).

I’d be the biggest hypocrite on here if I were to make a suggestion on what you should do with it 😂. I appreciate your dilemma though.

It is possible the delivery company might filter back that they managed to deliver in the end, and then you might be asked to return or be charged again.

Has anyone ever known Harrods discount their calendars . I’ve ordered the HHFAC for a friends Christmas gift and the more I look at it the more I want one for myself . I love home fragrance and this looks really special . I can imagine getting the box out every year and filling it with my own things next year .

I am definitely going to go for the BT one next year. I have family in Ireland so they could potentially send it to me.
