The box is really pretty. I must say, I’m a bit disappointed with the box for the HFAC. I was expecting something much more substantial given its a luxury brand. It’s a bit flimsy and arrived with a couple of dents in it.

That said, I’m dying to start it and am really excited about trying everything in it. And the BT box is fabulous so I’m sorted there.

I started my HFAC today, I'm doing a 12 week countdown to Christmas Eve so I can get more use out of the fragrances 🥰 so I'll be opening a new box every Thursday.

I had a lovely hour wandering around Liberty last night after a day in the London office trying all the perfumes that I have sitting at home in various calendars - I was very efficient and made a list and went around testing everything!

realised Killian is not for me! So those will be going on Vinted tomorrow but really liked Gris Charnel and Carnal Flower. The lady on Sisley was lovely and gave me a 2ml sample of Eau de Soir to take away 🥰 I showered last night and this morning and can still smell Gris Charnel which has put me off slightly!

now I am torn between Glossybox (top tip for TikTok I saw was to add it to basket apply the voucher, wait 5 minutes then importantly - remove from basket, then do same next day. I was adding to basket and leaving it but that doesn’t trigger the bigger discounts so now it’s coming down to £74 for me). Any torn between Glossybox BAC and Sharing with teenage daughters or the Lisa Eldridge edit from Liberty which was much more impressive in real life.

oh and you guys will appreciate this - they were clearing the entire Reome stand in the middle! I asked why (innocently) and she said it was moving…. to a tiny half shelf in the corner!

It was on a tiny half shelf in the corner when I was there in May. Perhaps they got an upgrade because they were in the BAC then a downgrade again because of leaky bottles. 😂

Lovely, there are so many great fragrances in HFAC, I absolutely love this year’s curation. Only a few duds. My taste has evolved to crave odd scents 🤔😁 i.e I think Memo and BTS were my favs!

I am opening 1 each week as well 🥳 to spread the joy 🎉 and I already started my BAC line up, happy days ☺️ 🎄

@BakeOffRewatch I promise you won't smell of Tiramisu if you get Ylang Ylang Espresso as it's very rosy, very coffee, a bit smoky - like a flowery greener woodier version of Black Opium.

Well that's what it smells like on me & I do like it.

For Tiramisu, try Kilian Midnight Espresso... it's lovely

I tried all the new Kilian cocktails at the weekend - only on tester papers. I agree it's lovely. I couldn't work out if I wanted to smell of it though. It was one of those scents I feel could be just too cloying.

Well now I’ve ordered the Harrods I feel the floodgates may of opened! I have the Glossy in my TikTok basket for 72 or I could wait to see if I could score the Selfridges fragrance or wild card I’m on the South Coast but daughter works in Knightsbridge I could send her on a mission tomorrow to see if the Harrods fragrance is in stock in store but would have to add the cost of an uber home for her so she doesn’t have to carry what I hope would be a hefty weigh home ahhhhh! 🤣

But I’m jealous of the gorgeous BT you all have ordered @OvaHere @JoRaRaRa @BeanNaGealai I’m just too much of a scaredy cat to have gone through the delivery process, mine would have ended up in Timbuktu 😬 Or with the guy who had my DH trousers on!

I have just had a major splurge and purchased the Astridandmiyu silver advent calendar - I’ve never been into jewellery and I only got my ears pierced this year after 40 plus years of not having them pierced so decided to treat myself to give me a wide selection of jewellery can’t wait for it to be delivered. In order to justify it I am going to sell my HFAC - I bought 2 in case I loved the fragrances enough to want two of them - but can’t justify that now - so if I work out how I will join the fbook group and sell it on there if it is allowed? If not I will pop it on ebay.
