I find all Ex Nihilo drydown artificial smelling. I am getting rid of Lust in Paradise from the advent

Yeah, its a nice set but Im still to cheap to fork out 120 pounds for 40ml (whilst having spend 1500 on advents and beauty boxes lately 🙄)

SOTD is Shiseido Ginko, first spray this morning. It's not what I expected - more assertive - but I like it. It could definitely be a good day to evening fragrance. The first few moments reminded me wistfully of YSL Babydoll, but it's settled somewhere quite different.

I have an offer that I have agreed on for 140e. I have not been yet paid so I am going to give them another day.

Rituals Velvet Aura is very like Tom Ford noir extreme. Over 90% similarities. I am shocked as I considered velvet aura very feminine!

Kilian love don't by shy. Sweet gourmand, similar to Oriana. Enjoyable but a bit too dense. Prefer Oriana. Perfectly nice though.

Catching up after a very long day yesterday travelling to visit family abroad.

JM Basil, lime, bergamot at. 4am to start the journey for a zesty boost.

Acqua di Parma Colonia Club top up en route because it was in my bag on the plane.

Sirene Privee for a very fun late night (with too many cocktails!!) in a cool bar with dh on arrival even though we were shattered. Was the perfect scent for that type of evening.

Tana Meadow this morning because I wanted to try it in summer vibes. 28 degrees, sunny, still doesn’t work for me.

DS Durga Debaser after the beach for the afternoon.

Adelphi Sun this evening, like it more than Tana Meadow but not sure it’s quite my thing.

Sampling Imperial Parfums Kashmir today. it’s a dense, sweet, and fruity summer vanilla. I won’t be purchasing a full bottle since I already own Il Giardino dell’Anima by Eight & Bob, which nails that summer vanilla vibe and I much prefer. Kashmir leans just a bit too sweet for me to wear, so I’ll likely use the rest of the sample as a relaxing bath-time room spritz.

Adelphi Sun, on the other hand, is full-bottle buy. It’s the definition of quiet luxury. To me it has gorgeous beachy feel without going into typical suntan oil territory. The cardamom really works its magic here.

I am going to wear Jo Malone Ginger Biscuit today but likely sample few more over the day

They described Kashmir as candied pear and I agree.

Valaya for me today. I'm heading off to the hbeauty carnival and want to try a few perfumes whilst I'm there so this seemed a good choice 🥰

It’s half term so we’re staying with family and I’ve brought a selection of samples to see me through: Max Mara Le Parfum (generic inoffensive vanilla-musk), D&G Your Devotion (similar but more peachy), Double Scoop, Miller Harris Le Cedre and Artisan Parfumeur Il Etait Un Bois (for woodland walks).

Maison Matine Avant L’Orage today. Jasmine, musk and vanilla. Wish it lasted a bit longer. Nice, but not a repurchase.

I’m going to check this out as soon as I’m back in the uk. TF NE is one of my all time favourite perfumes and I’m eking out the remaining half bottle in my cupboard!!

Ritals Velvet Aura was limited edition. Few of us here would love a replacement. Hopefully the Tom Ford can fill the gap.

Diptyque Philofokos today. I really like the green figgy vibe, but it doesn’t have much staying power.

Sotd is I don’t need a prince by my side to be a princess by Kilian .Its quite nice but not amazing so I’m glad I just bought a small bottle.

The other perfume name that set my teeth on edge is Good Girl, sounds like what you'd say to a dog not a grown woman. The GG range is actually really nice but it took me a while to get over it.

Been trying some from the liberty scent kit today.

Morning chess a bit too citrus forward and masculine for me.

Also tried side effect by initio which actually wasn't in the liberty kit come to think.of it. Its a boozy rum and tobacco one goes on strong but dries down nice. Perfect for autumn.
