Me too. Harrods cancel if you have more than 2 going to one address but that's the only thing they check at the moment. I wasn't sure if my 2x fac order went through as I didn't receive an email confirmation when others had, so I ordered another in the panic which was later cancelled, which was fine because I found the confirmation in my old email account so I did get the order for me and my mum. I heard that you could order up to 10 of the sfac. I don't know how true that is though as I just tried to pay for my 1 as quick as poss.

They will cancel the only advent I ordered if they do that as I am using mail forwarding service. I guess if they dry, they do - not much I can do.

I went to that black cat behind the computer GIF mode. Went absolute FOMO, went in for first options with the least clicks, afraid off it disappearing out of my basket. Didnt even think to order 2 for someone else. I was just TAKE MY MONEY!!!!!! TAKE IT!!!!!!

It was not a pretty sight.

Matiere Premiere Metal Lavender today - I do like a bit of mat prem.

Lavender can be an overwhelming scent for scme, it's not an easy reach. Lovely as an occasional option.

There is much more they can check like billing, name and address. If forwarding or collection points are used.

I figure that if they limit per address like Harrods, the scalpers with bots just use different delivery points.

I don't think selfridges are cancelling orders for it, it was Harrods, hopefully they can detect forwarding companies. I did wonder if BT would cancel our orders when we all used parcel flow, but thankfully they didn't 🥰

The Harrods and Selfridges calendars are already up for resale, it's just wild. I cannot get behind the hype and scarcity that the stores are trying to create with these!

SOTD is Orphéon, and I'm really very sold on it - it's reminiscent of Pure Musc but where that is like Dove soap, this is more like fancy French soap. It's just really comforting, cosy and clean to my nose.

I may drop by Brown Thomas after work with the how they may have been Tea Storm. I really want to try it

I tried this today. I really love it. Such a nice scent. DS loved it too. I wasn't as keen on the other two.

It has the same vibe that makes me love Liberty Maze. Can't say if I liked this better as I'd need to properly test it when I'm not covered in other scents but it's the first LV one I've tried that made me think I'd want a bottle.

SOTD was FdB Sirene Privee despite that being an utterly ridiculous perfume to wear to the gym. Once I realised that was what I had come home with from JL I just couldn’t wait!

At least my PT told me I smelt nice before my session 😂 Wore it again this evening. Still trying to figure out if it’s for me and if I will keep the fs bottle from BT. I love the complexity but it leans a bit sweet and seems to stay there on the dry down. Jury is still out on this one.

SOTE is Ex Nihilo Lust in Paradise from the SFAC and it's beautiful. I was lucky to get the advent via the Selfridges concierge service. I went in on Saturday to buy an edit and one of the Concierges insisted on serving me. I mentioned that I was getting the edit as I'd missed the BAC, and she went and found one of the last BAC's for me. I then signed up to her concierge service. I messaged her when the BFAC dropped and she managed to save one for me, which was amazing. I'm popping in tomorrow in the hope that she can save me a 2nd one from the next drop for my DSis. I love every one of the fragrances except FDB Patchouli, which is a bit too heavy for me.

SOTD is gold immortals (v similar to brompton immortals). I cancelled my Selfridges FAC order off ebay as the seller had gone quiet on me so I suspect they hadn't got their hands on one- will get one at a later point no doubt and hopefully the prices will come down. Meanwhile to get over the disappointment I ordered the BDK extraits set off beauty the shop, it has the rouge smoking extrait which I love (better then the edp) also the gris charnel extrait which I prefer the edp to, and the pas ce soir extriat both of which I'll sell on.

The Velvet Tonka extrait is lovely. I tried that one yesterday.

Also really like Gold Immortals although the extrait has the edge on the edp for me.

Think I also prefer the Gris Charnel edp to the extrait.

SOTD is LIP The extrait. I know I like this one but I thought I'd still test it before I start using the one in the sfac.

Rituals have 15 new perfumes! I think they are going through complete update to thier perfume line up

I have my hands on a SFAC thanks to a very kind fellow mn'er who read of my plight and sold me one. Thank you if you are reading this, you know who you are!

Haven't opened it yet as I want to savour the unboxing.

My bank balance is a mess after all these deals and calendars but I'm happy!

Sotd too many to mention as I was sniff testing at the shopping centre but vanilla salt and fig erotique made it on.

JHAG purple trouble was a disappointment. Harsh berry chilli start then fades to nowt. I bought it with snk points so at least didn't waste real money

I'm still sulking about missing out on the SFAC after being up all night waiting for it and the waitlist hack not working on my phone. I really want it but I don't want to reward a scalper by giving them £100+ above the Selfridges price. There isn't a single scent in it that I don't want to try or already know I like. I don't sell on, so that's the main consideration. Compare that with HN where at least half of them I don't want or don't sound like my kind of thing, so I'm definitely not buying that without a hefty discount.

Last year I missed out on Harrods and I ordered Look Fantastic but the order was cancelled about 2 weeks afterwards and I was so disappointed. This feels similar. I know there might be more drops of SFAC but I somehow feel I'll miss those too. Like tomorrow, I'm going to be in hospital all day with no phone signal whatsoever, if last time is anything to go by, so what's the betting it drops then?

Matiere premiere crystal saffron extrait tonight. Mellower than the edp but I think i prefer the sharpness of the edp. Like huffing diesel fumes!

Been to M&S today and took pics of these two as I really liked them

I have taken all the perfumes out of my selfridges fac and stared lovingly at them, looking up the scent profiles on fragrantica as I do. This is a damn fine collection of scents. Looking forward to trying them.

SOTD was Gris Charnel (really growing on me)

SOTE (well night more than evening as I’m heading out at 10.30pm & won’t be home before the small hours) is M CrivelliTuberose Astrale. Feels like a good one to go out clubbing in!

Sprayed some Harrods Advent fragrances on my skin today. Absolutely love the Brompton Immortals, surprised by the Thameen. Definitive keepers. The Memo Paris is a no. There is a note in there I dont like.

Also tested the Sour I mean Golden Milk one. So glad I traded it off with another Mumsnetter lol. No regrets

I sprayed the ginger flower one today. I really like it.

SOTE is Tom Ford Black Orchid - it's a lovely warm scent. I think i can smell a hint of the spicy chocolate note - but I have just had a spicy hot chocolate, so it could be that 😁

That one is so polarizing... i absolutely love it no sour milk for me!

I have Artisan Perfumeur sample set and have little spray of Passage d'Enfer Extrême. Not for me but I can appreciate it's beautifully blended. You may look into their tabacco offerings @IDontHateRainbows . This doesn't have it but feels smokey - witch seem to be the vibe of the house.

I have sample set from rituals, rose & tea fragrance tool my interest. I will give it a sniff
