Help finding me a watch for my wedding day!

Help! I’m looking for a watch to wear for me wedding. I’d like a silver one, small round face, bracelet style strap. Nothing extravagant or expensive particularly but if I fall
in love with a more expensive one that’s ok too! I’ve seen a couple on Next but I’m not so keen on the bracelets which look a bit chain-link style. If it had a mother of pearl face that would be the icing on the cake, but not essential. I’m going round in circles and I’m sure there are many corners of the internet I haven’t discovered that may hold my perfect timepiece! All suggestions gratefully received.

I’ve seen that last one and do really like it, but I’d like something smaller really. Thank you

Don’t wear one

I think I'd try an antique shop or second hand jewellers. There were some lovely little delicate watches around back in the day and you might just hit on the very thing you are looking for. Congrats on the wedding!

Why do you want to wear a watch on your wedding day? Surely that's the one day to let time pass you by.

I recently went into Goldsmiths looking for a little round sliver watch but after trying a few on as well as the link provided the square actually looked so feminine and classy.

I’ve had a lot of compliments on it and I love that it has real diamonds 💕✨

Skagen watches are lovely

Are you near london? Go to Portobello Road Market and get a beautiful vintage one. I've had one from Citizen for years that I literally found out of a basket of similar watches for around 30 pounds.

I like the 'cocktail watches' posted upthread; basically a bracelet with a watch face.

And I get it, OP. I've worn a watch every day since I learned to tell the time and feel unmoored without one. I'd absolutely need a watch to wear on my wedding day.

If it was me I would want one day where I didn’t need to know the time and just focus on being in the moment.

Why do you need to check the time?

The only time you’ll be without your phone is in the actual ceremony and for photos etc and so I don’t think you’ll need to be checking the time.

I wear my small citizen watch all the time. It’s perfect for me.

You don't need a watch on your wedding day. Enjoy it. Don't watch the time. It will go fast enough.

You don’t need to wear earrings or a veil or any number of things but some people choose to.

OP can you say what your outfit is like?
