I wish Phase Eight and others wouldn’t use Evri

Why do retailers bother using Evri? Phase Eight in this case. Ordered (I hope) a nice dress on Thursday, not particularly cheap, paid for delivery Friday. So far this is the delivery. And of course apart from gnashing my teeth there’s bugger all I can do about it. Maybe they will manage to actually get near my address on Monday? Or maybe not.

Earlier this month Evri delivered my two expensive outfits to a tree up my road. Hung in the branches!

The service is beyond bad. Stuff is only delivered round these parts once a week despite paying next day delivery (arrives Thurs am). Within 5 minutes it’s nicked.

We’ve told Evri, they don’t care at all. I’ve had so much nicked from
HM & Next that I seriously thought they’d think I was on the rob - they don’t.

I recently had the choice of having something delivered by either Royal Mail or Evri. I chose Evri as RM only seem to deliver once a week nowadays (letters arrive in a big bundle whereas we used to get them singly). People on local Facebook groups do seem to complain about Evri but I've personally never had a single problem with them.
