Help with marionette lines

AfogatoFirenze · 06/08/2026 22:31

Ok so I want something done about my marionette and nose to mouth lines. Hit me with what will help please - I don't want pillow look and I know less is more. Am soon to be 55, on holiday and in the mood 😂

That is inspiring!

fancytoes · Yesterday 18:14

Have you had your lips done or are they like that naturally? You look great!

EasternStandard · Yesterday 18:19

That’s really worked well

DozyCrow · Yesterday 18:21

Just seen this and you look great OP. My marionettes are developing so I'm tempted to get mine done too.

I too am interested in how you found your practitioner. So many places offer this now, even my dental surgery is offering services, but I want to get someone really experienced to do it. Where do we start looking?

FlorenceLawrence · Yesterday 18:21

What a fantastic result. I think I'll get this done - been thinking about it for a while now.
Did you have a personal recommendation for the clinic, or just go by reviews?

HRHCurmudgeon · Yesterday 18:31

Are you able to share the clinic / practictioner who did your work? Also, did you have your lips done too? Looks great!

Puppylucky · Yesterday 18:36

You look fantastic - I will say though that you have the perfect face for this kind of touch up as you have beautiful high cheek bones which mean that you can take a lot of filler without puffing out.

I’d like to know this too.- they look fab. I have Botox on my upper face and I’ve been considering fillers in my lower face but haven’t plucked up the courage . Yours looks amazing and I’m tempted to go for it but I’d like to know precisely what you have had done.

JulietteHasAGun · Yesterday 18:40

Looks fantastic

AfogatoFirenze · Yesterday 19:28

😀

i go to therapie in Bluewater and its Dr Eme who did it for me she's lovely!

no lips haven't been done you can see from my original picture this filler has kind of changed them a bit hasn't it? Probably pulled them up and out a bit.

i can post a full face if you like I don't really mind 😂

I had 5ml in cheeks and lower face

Well the downside is it cost £1000 but really IS IT a downside 🤦🏻‍♀️ 😂

That is incredibly cheap for 6mls.

I have a friend who went to Harley St and it was £600 per ml- so would be £3600 for what you had done.
Another friend went locally (south east) and pays £320 per ml.

Both used doctors with additional aesthetic training.

The cost usually is based on the cost of the filler and the professional training of the practitioner.

Not aimed at you OP but for anyone thinking of this, check both out carefully.
There are rogue fillers imported from overseas that are not quality tested and can by bought by anyone for £20!

lovingthebeachlife · Yesterday 19:31

It’s interesting it changed the lip shape as I wouldn’t have expected that but logically that would happen if everything is lifted up

lovingthebeachlife · Yesterday 19:32

Well you have sold me OP!

I think the poster wants to know which filler was used.

This is really important. If you or anyone has filler again, with anyone else,it is supposed to be the same brand and not mixed ( for 2 years as it can stay in the face for that long.)

AfogatoFirenze · Yesterday 19:37

I did go to a reputable place not some back street barber! Stop pissing on my chips 🤣

Edited

I'm sure you did, and you don't need to defend yourself.

But posters asking for advice need to know how unregulated it is, how fake products can be used and the really horrible outcomes if someone has done a one-day course and doesn't know what they are doing.

You both look great @AfogatoFirenze and @Idontjetwashthefucker. Your results are fabulous.
@Idontjetwashthefucker would you mind saying where the filler was injected for you and how much?

Hi, it was primarily for my marionettes but he did a little in my nasal-labial area too and a little in my upper cheeks to lift everything.

He did 3ml and it was £850

The filler looks great but you obviously have also had your lips done - you can see the tell tale upper lip shadow. It was done before the filler as they are the same before and after. No shame - just an observation!

Op says she hasn’t had her lips done and I can’t see why she’d lie when she’s been so open about the filler. I don’t think you can always tell. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Puppylucky · Today 10:21

No you can't always tell but you can in this case! I don't know why she wouldn't be honest either - unless she misunderstood to mean she was being asked if she had her lips done alongside the filler.
