I'm expecting this thread to be busy as we head towards both advents and autumn releases.

I saw that it went out of stock. That was fast! I think the green eyeshadow could sell out quite quickly too.

I was vaguely tempted by this release but I heard that the autumn or xmas release is supposed to be stunning so decided to wait on the off chance I like those more.

I recently got to silver (I think) on the website after buying some travel sizes of Dior Paradise and their new cleanser (which is quite similar to La Prairie but a bit gentler) and the setting spray (yet to try). I've now got a reward gift to claim but have until Jan to do it. Anyone know what it is?

I bought both eyeshadow palettes, but I remembered that I've recently bought the YSL 1982 Burgundy Millesime and I have the Dior champs Elysee palette from a few years ago, so I don't think I need the pink palette. I just went mad before considering what I have already.

Just tested Carnal Flower in store and it’s lovely and not like anything else I have so I think it will be a keeper!

Now I want to go and try carnal flower too @user593 ! I spritzed it a while ago and didn't fall in love but I feel my scent taste has changed a lot since then ( post multiple covids I can't cope with strong scents, I still have half a bottle of Portrait of a Lady that never gets picked up because it's such a room-filler)

@LightandBreezy I normally hate coconut scents but it’s really quite lovely. Give it another try!

I also have Portrait of a Lady which I bought when CB had 40% off. I haven’t opened it yet but have been clearing out a few used perfumes I don’t reach for recently (and using up a few I was close to finishing!) so will have a little re-organisation soon and get it out, along with my newly acquired Carnal Flower ❤️

I was repopulating my collection with only Diptyque perfumes but Mumsnet has forced me to branch out a bit 😅

I got the pink Dior clover sets. I was tempted by the green but I went for pink as I’d bought the pink compact cover the day before. The eyeshadow palette is nice but I’ve tried green shades before and they have never really stood out, and these ones look similar to me.

Interestingly but unsurprisingly, I’d woken up in the morning randomly thinking about eyeshadow palettes and how I won’t be buying any more for a while as I’ve got a few new and unused ones already, then an hour or so later I’m processing a payment for the pink Dior palette 😅

Actually this reminds me, my parcels arrived this morning, I need to crack them open 😃

I used the Decree Protect Serum this morning. It was a bit sticky (which I think was mentioned here) but fine when it had moisturise layered over it. Not a fan of the smell but I’ve never found a serum containing vit c I have liked the smell of. Relieved it seems okay as I have three bottles of this one too (thank you Debenhams!).

I think that’s the same bag from the MAC GWP CB was accidentally giving out with WA purchases. IMO very plasticy and not very nice, in case anyone was tempted on that basis!

Does it contain Vit C? I’ve been waiting to finish my BoJ niacinamide before starting the Decree am serum, but had planned to layer it on top of my Vit C serum. Literally just finished the medik8 and started a REN Vit C from the stash today, so am really hoping they will play nicely!

Edited to add: I have 4 thanks to Debenham’s, so am really really hoping I like it!!!

I'm using one at the moment and layer it on top of Tatcha Vit C with no issue.

I know very little about skincare ingredients but Google told me this ‘The Decree Protect Elixir contains 10% Ascorbyl Glucoside, which is a stable, water-soluble derivative of vitamin C designed to brighten, firm, and protect the skin gently over time.’ and the Decree website refers to it being ‘powdered by stabilised Vitamin C’. I only bothered to properly look up the ingredients this morning 😅

I had been nicking DP’s Medik8 C-Tetra Advanced so I just skipped it this morning.

Ooh, the Treat Tincture is a treat! 😅 Love the consistency and the smell. Hopefully it works for me 🤞 but then again if it does I’ll regret not buying more!

I’m tempted to take it on holiday with me for 2 weeks instead of the BoJ serum as I think it might be more useful when I have fewer products to hand but a) I know I’ll never finish the BoJ if I allow myself to start the next thing first and b) I’m worried I’ll have a reaction to something new and have no alternative whilst away.

Ive got a few degree am and pm serums. I need to try the am but im nervous. I do like the pm but use every 3 nights as my skin is clearer,smoother,etc the morning after but I do notice its drier as the day goes on.
I tried the medicube gel cream yesterday. Bought a load off tiktok shop awhile ago in the moment. I was going to sell at a loss initially as dopamine purchase but was looking for a moisturiser and came across it. I didt have my glasses on and thought it was the one with the spheres in but realised on opening it wasnt. 😅
Anyway used it and was surprised at how impressed I was with it. Sticky when I first put on but spf, laura mercier blurring primer and nars foundation went on lovely. 😍
I do think its possibly because theres no actives in and my skin breathed a sigh of relief 😅 but im going to look at what else I have. I bought at least 7 products. My stash is all over and need to sort into cleansers, etc but stuff going on so it'll have to wait for now.
Ive not bought an advent yet although just read someone's review on fragrance page and regretting not getting hartods fragrance now 😅
Going to do 2 frankenstein ones. Im sure something will catch my eye. Waiting for space nk. I also recall from last year buying a lot of edits so looking forward to seeing what comes out.
