I just love Victoria’s dress on Only Connect tonight…again! Anyone got any idea where it’s from?

@hoarahloux @Peaceandquietandacuppa Thank you, thought I was going mad for a second. I think it's the pattern placement that makes it look a bit different, as hers doesn't have a half pink collar, but the sleeves, belt and the buttons are identical

To me it seems pretty rude and, as she is a person who is very fond of herself, I can't say I'm surprised.

It would have taken her less time to say where the dress was from than it took to that write out that smug bilge.

One thing that really put me off her was her sheer hypocrisy when she married-wearing a full white dress and veil and calling herself, Coren Mitchell when he just calls himself David Mitchell.

She had sneered at both thing things before her marriage and yet when it was her turn she presented herself as a vestal virgin and did take her husband's name-he didn't take hers.

I think the comments about people asking her what she wears, was the long running joke that she has where she references Michael Portillo in all sorts of scenarios, but often to do with his clothes. I’ve no idea why.

Yes, she certainly thinks she is superior to Michael Portillo.

If she mentioned the maker of the dress she was wearing-a max of 6 words- it would have been a nice lift for them in these hard times.

However, I do understand that she may have been a little worried that lots of people would buy the dress and all look better than her in it...even maybe Mr Portillo!

I think it's because for a while, it was always a Michael Portillo railway programme which followed Only Connect on BBC2.

When Myleene Klass had a partnership with Next she did this lovely dress in similar colours. Lots on Vinted. They did this style in lots of different colours and it’s a really lovely fitting dress…

They used that fabric for a shirt. I have it. It’s certainly over 1 year old. I think my shirt is linen. Currently on holiday without it, so cannot check.
