I just love Victoria’s dress on Only Connect tonight…again! Anyone got any idea where it’s from?

I saw it and liked it too. Google lens says it's Boden, a Kate puff sleeve belted dress in Highland Green. Doesn't seem to be on their website any more, maybe Vinted?

If I am wanting a dress I put details of it into google. It is amazing how many dresses at all sorts of prices show up and then you can decide where to buy it from.

It seems to be available in a few sizes on a website Rue La La. It might be worth checking how reliable the site is as I haven't heard of them.

Many thanks to you all! I didn’t even think about a screenshot! I haven’t had any luck online but my search has thrown up similar styles that I’ve liked. Boden are doing the Kate dress this year but the colour/pattern isn’t something I’d go for. I’ll not take the risk on RueLaLa!

I have a Boden skirt in this fabric. I got it in the sale last winter. So I am guessing it was last summers stock and the dress probably is too. I am really stuck as to what to wear on my top half. I can’t get the right shade of pink so I think I will go for green.

It's a very Boden dress with those colours and pattern so if you liked that you'll probably like other dresses in this years range.

That is not the same dress, which had a lighter shade of green and was overall much nicer. I think I have seen it before - Nobody's Child? or similar? You could always write to her agent and ask.

I've had some success with contacting slebs directly, on X or Bluesky when trying to find out what they've worn. They've all been pleased to be asked I think!

On Vinted there are dresses that have a similarity colour wise and some of the sellers only want a few quid. The ones I have seen are from Tu. Must admit I haven't looked on eBay and some charity shops sell online. I hope you find a colour you like. I have contacted some celebs in the past and found them most helpful. Chat GPT is most helpful and could probably find something similar.

I have just checked on Ebay and it is there, postage from USA though. It might be worth looking through ebay as you might get it for a more reasonable price.

One of my friends used to own a London-based fashion label (now defunct) and they would send her dresses, and also Nigella Lawson. I’m sure I remember one time she’d got a call that Victoria Coren was looking for a dress and they were trying to find an appropriate one and get it to her that same day.
