As the title suggests What are people wearing to work during this heatwave?

extra points for plus size petites.

Linen trouser suit, bought at a bargain price in the autumn sales years ago. It’s been a good investment. Suit jacket on for the air con, off for the tube. Loose linen shirt but the collar makes it look fairly smart.

Beige chinos and a comfy loose top. Pregnant so it's more a case of what fits and looks reasonable. Thankfully my work isnt too smart and its obvious I'm pregnant so sure no one will tell me off! Also lucky me has to wear knee length compression stockings to add to the fun. In and of themselves they're not too hot, but current pair are dark green and I feel self conscious wearing a skirt/dress.

Short sleeve cotton dress and strappy sandals.

Thick cargo trousers and tshirt. Accessories include gloves, goggles and a stimmer 😁

Shorts, T-shirt, steel toe boots. Plus plastic PPE - apron, arm covers, foot covers, gloves. Thought I was going to combust yesterday! Fortunately I only work there on Mondays.

I wore a shortish Whistles dress to a meeting yesterday. Very loose and cool. It’s not actually too hot here in SE, but the meeting room did get warm.

Linen trousers, t-shirt.

Cotton dresses and Birkenstocks

Cotton cropped pj bottoms and an old loose t-shirt. Am WFH.

Tailored shorts and smart t-shirt yesterday, linen dress today.

Also large secondary school - it's so hot that I 'd break out the bikini if it wasn't for freaking out the kids.

Today- gingham Monki loose dress, short-sleeved but 100% cotton & black fisherman sandals. I've been okay.

Tomorrow - navy/white striped Boden dress (Scotland colours tomorrow in school 👏). Again, short sleeved but cotton. Like a PP I've had it about 4/5 years & it's fab. Will do tan sandals as gave myself a pedi at the weekend.

Thur- last day of term whoo-hoo!!!!! Dress down day, so I might try the bikini 🤣. Failing that, linen co-ord.

It's hell. I don't know how you're surviving down south, we're 29 & that's bad enough.

Just pants as I have the house to myself, fan is on and blinds closed. No videocalls in my diary - or they'd get an eyeful if I forgot to switch my camera off!

In the office - a cotton shift dress. The aircon can be viscious so I keep a cardigan in my drawer.

Working from home so im wearing a thin strap top and a pair of knickers (what they cant see doesn't hurt them!)

Joking aside the last time it was hot I wore thin 3/4 lenth trousers (white) and a thin no armed t shirt - but the office has air con so it wasnt too bad

WFH - vest top (no bra) and combats but changed into shorts at lunchtime. I had a white shirt on the back of my chair in case I got a video call!

Special school teacher, no air con. We spent this afternoon with our feet in tuff trays full of water.

Nice summer dresses - all cotton or linen, just above the knee, all sleeveless, either v neck or round neck. Fake tanned legs and arms, hair up, sunglasses, tan handbag and tan sandals (or black with black dresses). Colourful nails, bright lipstick, chunky jewellery or colourful beads.

Another with the linen - there was a thread recently where it got a lot of hate, but find it the best in this weather.

Tapered patterned navy and white trousers and a navy cap sleeve blouse (both 100% cotton), tan sandals.

Tomorrow- denim shorts and a cotton v neck tshirt, silver birkies (we can be fairly casual)

Rest of week - wfh so as little as possible!

I'm not in the office as planned as the trains were barely running but I got dressed for the office. Wide but not ridiculous light linen trousers and a cotton tshirt. Basic but put together. Flat fisherman's sandals too which I never normally wear in a city centre but I'm.not sure if anyone has mentioned how ho t it is

I could probably get away with it! Didn’t have any meeting scheduled this afternoon anyway and folk don’t often call out of the blue.

30 weeks pregnant so I'm wearing loose dresses and sandals.
