If you like it otherwise, and are capable of sewing / alterations, could you buy two and cannibalise one of them to make straps? I couldn’t but if you have dress making skills? Or a little jacket in the same fabric? The dress is only £15.

I think @TallagallaPenguin’s idea may be what I end up doing. Buying two and using the skirt to make straps and some shorts, or to make a bodice
