Another t-shirt thread (for the middle-aged and large of boob)

Hello.

I'm so fed up with buying slightly shit t-shirts.

If you have large boobs so can't do anything completely unfitted, but don't want to wear tight t-shirts (which used to be my go-to when young) any more, what do you wear?

I think I like this (I think) from Lands End Women's Cap Sleeve V-Neck Supima T-Shirt | Lands' End and have ordered to try it.

Basically, my aim is to minimise the top.

Anyone got any more links/tips?

I have large boobs and find the Nellie Notch necks from White Stuff really flattering (and to be honest I don't find much flattering these days). They have been going for several years so you can find different plain colours and designs on Vinted too. You can size up and wear them baggy or size down a bit for a more fitted look. Yes, I just recently bought two of these! They are flattering on a large chest, especially with the v neck

BigHeroSix · 31/05/2026 17:49

I’ve been to the Next online site to try and buy some of those t-shirts I recommended and many of the colours have sold out in my size!

itsgettingweird · 31/05/2026 17:51

I’ve found the holy grail of everyday wear t shirts.

W have a “Yours” store in my town. They are long and have hip and boob shape to them.

I buy a size 16 everywhere but I’m a 14 in their t shirts because they are actually made to accommodate curves!

These are my favourites too.

I am an F/G cup and these are my faves too. Flattering sleeve and not clingy also seem to survive a 30 degree wash without twisting.

I like these from Next, I've got several in different colours.

100% agree. Good length (long enough to skim/cover apron belly) slightly shaped at the waist, nice wide neckline and flattering sleevelength. I was surprised how nice they are for the price. I've found Next pretty good for t-shirts the last couple years - their cuts seem more forgiving.

Second these. I have a few in colours that suit me. They fall nicely and the 'boat-like' neck is flattering.

I have bought several t shirts from Lands End recently and the quality is second to none , especially the supima cotton ones which you’ve ordered .
I have them in a few different colours and try to get them when the frequent sales are on .

Just been to White Stuff and bought 3 of these....went up a size to 18 to make them longer-oh the joys of being tall!! And they're fab over the bust and a lovely selection of colours. They're also 20%off right now. https://www.whitestuff.com/p/7066/nelly-short-sleeve-embroidered-tee/PINK_MLT
If you type in 'nelly' to the white stuff search bar, there's over 10 different patterns, all with the same fab fit.

NELLY SHORT SLEEVE EMBROIDERED TEE in PINK MULTI

Shop the NELLY SHORT SLEEVE EMBROIDERED TEE in PINK MULTI. The Nelly notch tee is back with a fresh new look. Same easy fit and 100% organic cotton fabric. Brand new prints (and some stylish embroidered bits too).

Definitely the Next ones - I have loads (cap sleeves, v-necks and modal) in different colours. They accommodate my huge boobs and are long enough to cover my stomach, too. Paired with trousers, they look smart enough for me to wear to work, but also look good with jeans and shorts.

These are nice.

And these are half sleeve length. https://www.cottontraders.com/women/tops-and-t-shirts/?prefn1=sleeveLength&prefv1=1%2F2%20Sleeve

I've bought mens t shirts as the fit is much better and they don't cut in under the arms, which I hate and they don't cling to you which I find annoying. Don't know why women's clothes are so ill fitting.

bellocchild · Yesterday 11:37

Landsend cotton t-shirts are made of very high quality cotton, which probably explains the price. They wash beautifully. Be sure you like it - you'll have it for ages!

Whereismyjoiedevivre · Yesterday 15:20

I don’t wear T-shirts any more, they look terrible on me whatever the shape or size.

SurferRona · Yesterday 19:32

I bought this two weeks ago, it’s lovely….much more ‘slumpier’ IRL and I love it so much. https://www.zara.com/uk/en/rustic-oversize-t-shirt-p00858020.html?v1=509610674&v2=2420397 Honest, it isn’t as oversized as it looks either and the sleeves are almost batwing, so cool and easy to wear.

I can also recommend COS for really decent heavyweight cotton round neck t-shirts. They often have a seam down the back, so have a more tailored look.

Both of these are excellent quality cotton, really strong!

Swonderful · Yesterday 21:46

I like the Hush reece tshirts. They're soft and drapey so fall nicely with bigger boobs but are a modern shape (slightly oversized but not too much). I also find the sleeves a flattering length.

fartoomuchtoblerone · Yesterday 21:57

I really like the Next ones but for some reason I can’t stop staining them! I’ve had them in a few colours and every single time I wear one that’s not black a greasy mark appears on them that doesn’t wash out and I need to treat it with stain remover. Doesn’t happen with any of my other clothes so I feel like perhaps I’m losing my mind.
