Do comfy bras exist?

I’m on the lookout for a comfy bra. I’m fed up with the underwire cutting into me especially in this warm weather. Has anyone tried gel bras? Are they any good? Or does anyone else have any recommendations? Ideally I’d want something that has a clasp at the back. Thank you.

I’d love to find a wireless bra that lifts, but crucially, separates. I have decided I’m done with wires but I can see why they were invented. Every wireless bra I’ve tried has no means of separation and I end up with uniboob which I hate

Have you been measured lately? Uniboob is usually due to poorly fitted bras. The boob or bust website has a measuring calculator with instructions of how to measure and you’ll likely find that you’re a different size to what you think. It also tells you what style of bra is best for your body shape.

I don’t think it’s a size issue, it’s more I think to do with the fact that it’s the wire which keeps the central part between the boobs, flat to the chest and also therefore keeps the boobs apart. I don’t think there’s an answer apart from probably one of those old style “cross your heart” bras which come up so high that they don’t really work under clothes with a decent v neck or an open shirt

I bought some on shein of all places and I’m absurdly delighted with them. Fantastic value, super sportive with nice thick straps and they are actually comfortable! I’m a 38e but I also bought a38d by accident and gave it to my 17yo dd…. She said she wants just those bras in the future and so I ordered her another 4. Got some on order for my sister too. I’ll attach pictures of them as i got a mix of wired and non wired but they really are great. They wash well too and for the price I’m absolutely thrilled.

I wear a wired bra all day long and all the time at home too. Never felt uncomfortable. I currently wear Fantasie Fusion at a 30FF (Bravissimo measured and checked recently again).

Thoroughly recommend Snag bras. Non wired, larger straps so no digging in, super comfy. Dont wear anything else now.

I exclusively wear Molke original these days, breathable, no wires and still give a shape with 2 boobs. I find all other non-wired bras aim for the mono boob look. Even the Molke flexi bra is mono boob.

And most other don’t go up big enough if you are actually wearing the right size.

Asda also sell some really nice, and comfortable, non wired bras.

This.

I'm a Molke fan too and only wear their original bras as well.
They are the comfiest bras I've ever worn and are a genius design.
You don't get mono boob with them as, though the back is one piece, like a traditional soft bra, the front is cut in 2 pieces - one for each boob - and they cross each other in the middle, one under and one over to attach to the chest band.
I'm not explaining it well but it means, for example, that you can reach for something from a high shelf and one bosom doesn't end up escaping underneath the chest band - everything returns to where it's meant to be.
Not cheap, not particularly pretty but so, so comfortable.

Bravissimo do a lovely non wired wrap bra - great for separating the boobs. I need to get another one as I've changed sizes (due to weight loss). I also used to love the Doreen bra I had (again lost weight, so too big for me now!) :)
