Can you help me find an everyday, but stylish dress to throw on please?

Please help! I am probably being far too specific, or deeply unfashioable but I am looking for a plainish cotton dress, below the knee, in black cotton or linen at a push. With the variable weather atm I am wearing leggings and a top, but I would like to be able to thow on a dress over the top to look a bit more put together. Ideally I could also whear without a top in better weather.

I have bigger boobs so the neck needs to be square or scoop. I have been looking at apron dresses, but can't find anything and would like something a bit less structured. The nearest I can get is this from New Look (but the waist is too high) or this from Lucy&Yak (but this is a bit sack like). This from M&S a better shape but it's covered in ruffly bits.

Every thing really nice I have seen the neck is too high or the waist is too short. I have a bit of an hourglass still, so something that sits at my natural waist would be better.

Tesco had loads like this last year, may be worth keeping an eye out.

Saint and Sofia do comfy jersey dresses. And go up to 22.

I like this one but think the way it goes out at the waist would make my hips look much bigger than they actually are!

Ooh watching with interest as I'm looking for similar op!

Soo many replies but a large portion of them have high necks.

I've a large bust too and like op need square or scoop neck (or vneck even).

At the moment lots of shops seem to have high neck, very long dresses as far as the eye can see. Or they look promising and then you realise the seam that's meant to be under your bust is far too high if you've a large chest. 😞

I will also try to have another search later and come back, hopefully won't more links/options.....

Bit of a sack from Hush at £100!

I bought this, not expecting much, on the recommendation of someone whose style I really admire. I love it! It dresses up and down really well. Works with flats, sandals, trainers and heels and a ridiculous variety of jackets and jewelry.

This. So many of these dresses have a very short or high waist, I am quite long in the backso along with a larger chest hoiking everything up and out, so they sit on my ribs, rather than at my natural waist.
