Can you help me find an everyday, but stylish dress to throw on please?

Please help! I am probably being far too specific, or deeply unfashioable but I am looking for a plainish cotton dress, below the knee, in black cotton or linen at a push. With the variable weather atm I am wearing leggings and a top, but I would like to be able to thow on a dress over the top to look a bit more put together. Ideally I could also whear without a top in better weather.

I have bigger boobs so the neck needs to be square or scoop. I have been looking at apron dresses, but can't find anything and would like something a bit less structured. The nearest I can get is this from New Look (but the waist is too high) or this from Lucy&Yak (but this is a bit sack like). This from M&S a better shape but it's covered in ruffly bits.

Every thing really nice I have seen the neck is too high or the waist is too short. I have a bit of an hourglass still, so something that sits at my natural waist would be better.

There is a 'viral' black cotton summer dress in Primark at the moment for a tenner, that meets your requirements unless you want sleeves.

Oh I thought noone was going to reply and here are loads of options!

Faves so far are the M&S one @24Dogcuddler suggested, but I am wary of polycotton and it's a little stiff. And the viral Primark one and the similar ASOS one are lovely and just the shape I am looking for (thank you @SoScarletItWas for all those suggestions!) but it's sold out in the larger sizes😞. @Bananajam the Albaray dresses are really gorgeous - but I need to think about spend.

I should have said I am 14/16 and an e cup, so the high neck ones while elegant on others would make me look like I was all chest!

I would be a little wary of Nobody’s Child or anything made of Lenzing Ecovero (which NC use regularly). I haven’t found any way to stop it shrinking in the wash, so if I really want something made of it I always size up.

I have this in black and it's immediately what I thought of when I read the OP. Comfy and can be dressed up or down.
