What do you think of these shorts?

I think they’re ok.
My sister says otherwise. The only person in the house to give opinion is 17 yo son (not interested!), so I defer to MN.

They look nice. You have a great figure. If I looked that good in shorts I’d be wearing them in winter as well as summer 😂

Interestingly apparently paper bag are not in this year and there’s more of a trend for dark wash denim with a 90s throwback feel

They are perfectly nice and fit you well. I know nothing else about you or how you like to dress but if I had legs like yours I'd be wearing something more fashion forward like shorter denim shorts or some of the very pretty scalloped cotton styles that have been around lately. Either way, your sister is wrong. Enjoy your shorts.

I think they are fine - I have several pairs of Tu shorts: v good .

Personally I prefer shorts to feel a bit looser in v hot weather so I might try a size up, but up to you.

Didn’t know if the turn up proponents meant single or double turn. Double def too short. We have cheekage almost showing at the back.
Single looks a bit like they got caught on a chair.
Both ways you remove the A line.
They are quite fitted, but think they will loosen with wear.

Of course I know it shouldn’t matter what anyone else thinks but I do care and also appreciate the honestly you can get from MN. It’s been really helpful over the years.

For all the folk saying they should be turned up, you’d need to size up or have a looser style for that. I think this fit looks classic and would be nice with an oversized button down shirt or if layering, an oversized sweater with a t-shirt underneath, round collar visible.
